This one and the Longines Spirit homage are currently on my radar. Lovely watches, but got to check size. Thanks for the review Simon, be well mate. PS Thanks also for introducing me to Mirrly on Time Watch Reviews channel. Cheers. PS2 Oh, nice "ribs clean up" (11:21😜) or was it pants (pun untended😂) like i do?
I love the design of the Autavia. This homage could be such a lovely watch, especially as it's an homage of a watch that hasn't been homaged to death. If it just wasn't for Pagani Design's compulsion to make an already big watch even bigger. Besides it would benefit from a sapphire crystal as so many other Pagani Design watches do.
Another enjoyable video. I'm surprised PD bothered putting AR coating on a mineral crystal. It's my understanding that reflectivity is generally much less an issue on mineral crystal (and plexiglass) compared to sapphire.
I've checked this out a few times, was interested in the green dial....the unnecessary thickness is what nips me, I can easily pull it off it just doesn't make sense....🏴⌚🏴⌚
One of my first ever pagani watches was this exact one on the bracelet. Earlier version and the bracelet was quite rough on mine. Interested to see how the bezel was on yours which was not so great on mine. I gave mine to my pal Timmy who really liked the watch. I may snag another cause it is a nice looking watch. Those specs, I don’t remember the watch being that big, but then again I have a large wrist… And ahhhhh, the bezel has been improved since their first release, so that’s nice to see. Great review as always m8, your vids are always pukka
It’s so very close to being bang on tbh and is only really let down by the 2 things I mentioned. Thank you for watching my man and I hope you’re well 👍👍
Very strange choice to make the watch bigger, when current trends are smaller watches. Other than that, nice looking watch at a reasonable price. Good review as usual. I just uploaded one on the Nodus Contrail, and next week I have a very special one coming.
I have done a lot of research into the Tag Heuer Autavia. I found online (caliber corner) that the mechanism is either Base Calibre: ETA 2892-A2 or the Clone Sellita300-1. Both are Automatic movements that use either one and are very good Swiss movements. Its price on their website is Australian $6,500.00. Tag wants it serviced in 3 to 4 years. I saw a recommended service cost at a cost of $460 for the service plus any parts needed. There are differences between the Autavia to my new Pagani PD 1649 watch that cost around $120.00 delivered. Im wearing it so I'll find out how it wears. I believe it will wear well and it's only losing a very acceptable 7 second's each day when I'm wearing it. That's good for an Automatic. The mechanisms is a japan movement, Seiko NH35. This also is a very good movement. The band needed emery paper to stop slightly grazing my wrist skin. Also I let it fall up or down on my arm instead of pushing it up or down on my arm otherwise it grazes my arm.
This looks great even though they made it little bit bigger definitely should have stayed with the same size hopefully for version 2 they will maybe 🤷♂️
I wasn’t aware if the autavia of which this is homage, this is easy on the eye and an interesting colour. I see they moved the date to 3 from 6. Overall an 8 out of 10 for me, sapphire Crystal would have moved it to a 9. Good work fella…
Had the green one of threes on the Stanles steel band the bezel on mine is bi directional and not the best other than that this is one of my favourite Paganis
Nice, yeah this one has a bi directional bezel which I only realised after recording and why I put some text up, my bad. Am glad you like it and I can see why 👍👍
I think that was my main take away from the watch in terms of the size, shame really coz it’s a very decent watch for the price. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime I worked for the money spent. My time. I argued with someone for the last week. Official Pagani design store. They sell garbage "sometimes " and expect you to eat it. The just send it back is not acceptable because you make garbage
@@WatchtheTime it's a small thing. But every watch I buy I get excited for. Do I buy a case. Pick a movement sapphire.......... I can make. Then. I asked to buy. I never get discount. I expect that what I buy is acceptable. My discount comes in or not. Expect what I paid for. Sale is nothing without service and I am simple to stare at what was given to me..if I can't give it away is ax20 beater. Shame
My last watch from pagani design has a texture dial like meteor. The case back look like shit. Can I get what I asked for? I was told no. I can't relate to you unless you are accepting a poor quality product
