The bezel is indeed upgraded to 120 clicks, without the recoil of the video. And the price of this watch in the mid-year promotion is only 90 euros, and the tax reform will be implemented in Europe in July. This is the best time to shop.
I just got one like a week ago, paid USD$110, said it was supposed to be the 2022 upgraded version with 120 click bezel, but it was only 90 click 😢 tried to return it, seller offered $22 back to keep it, so I kept it, and regret it...I wish they'd at least line it up @ 12, probably wouldn't mind 90 click if it was lined up, but it's not 😵💫
And to people that say" they're rubbish compared to the real thing " well they are the real thing in there own right. And they certainly aren't 400 times worse. I love love love anyone that takes the piss out of rolex because their pricing is literally criminal.
The water resist is actually 200M not 100M, as stated on the dial and case back. Also, the latest version, 2024, has a 120-click bezel, no lateral play, and little back lash. And the Lumenova has been updated to be blue for the bezel. There is now a green-blue contrast to the lume. As for design elements....it adheres to the original Omega, which also has no taper to the bracelet at 20mm constant. The satin link finish though doesn't adhere to the brushed polished of the Omega. But the female end links of the Pagani Design does make it the superior 300M homage for fitment compared to similarly priced 300M homages. Mine is identical to yours and it fits very nice on the wrist, (6.8"). BTW, the NATO strap is not always included. So buyers should make note to ask and check. BTW, it lacks the current Omega's helium escape valve, but I think it was a good design choice as the appearance of the watch is more aesthetic and akin to the earlier Seamasters. I just purchased another version in Black today during the AliExpress June sale for only $66 USD! Sale ends June 7th.
I wasn't even in the market for a watch, but after seeing you review a Pagani PD1644 I purchased one. Then I ordered 2 Vostok Amphibias, a Pagani "Hulk", Citizen Prodiver. and a Jacques Lemans dive watch. Damn!
I ended up buying a black dial one with the steel bracelet. Amazing looking watch, surprisingly great machining for the case... Only thing is the clasp folding mechanism. There were two pins in there which weren't finished, and had VERY sharp edges. I felt it stinging my wrist. I used a file to remove the sharp edges of them, and now it's a very comfortable bracelet! Having somewhat smaller wrists though, I could JUST make it fit. I had to remove all removable links, and it's in the very last microadjustment position. In my case the automatic runs a bit faster, but within factory spec. About +12 seconds per day for me. The saphire crystal and bezel look outstanding, and my bezel action feels very solid. Love this watch!
May I ask what size your wrist is, please? I'm contemplating this watch but I think the nylon strap is my only option as the steel bracelet will likely be too large.
Pagani Design are good, but do have some quality niggles. The Seiko mecha-quartz "Daytona" is one of their best IMO, but bracelet has some screw issues, at least on the one I had. I had various little issues with each of the ones I had too.
Exactly I used to think we’re basically robbing brands like Orient & Citizen but after knowing about Pagani Design I realize they’re the ones who’s robbing us.
I’d really like one of these. Love the dial. Nice to see you can get a similar style without selling a kidney. Seeing them use Seiko movements is also a big plus.
I really enjoyed the Video. There was another youtuber who made a video aboujt you with bad defamation. I dont know what he was on about. I like the shots of the watch and your commentary style. You show the bad and good sides of the watch. :)
Just got mine yesterday and I’m happy to say I have no back play or lateral play on the bezel, the movements runs very fast and needs to be regulated! Also on the watch states 200m not 100m! Not that I will be diving with it! But just saying…. The bracelet is poor but does the job, and on a 6 and 3/4 wrist I had to remove 4 links and one half link…. The movement doesn’t look bad through the exhibition case back! Looking forward to seeing how the watch is performing in time….great reviews, looking forward to seeing more of your reviews!

@@watchreviews4k you were right, the watch was magnetised! I demagnetised with a demagnetiser I had already, same as the one you gave me the link, and after checking the watch on the time-graph I am happy to say that the watch is very well regulated, believe me or not is within COSC certification and is running at +3 sec/say, even better than my C60 Lympstone which is a chronometer!!! The only thing I am a bit worried is the water resistance, what do you think? Is really water resistant to 100 metres or I should avoid testing the watch in real life like at swimming pool? Thank you
Sweet review. I love this watch! I’ve had mine for 2 months and would recommend. I haven’t had any problems while water skiing or running and the movement is quite smooth.
Thank you for the review. Nice timing too, just a few days before the summer sale. With the bezel upgrade to 120 clicks, the only thing that I am still worried about is the weight. I have a Casio Edifice 1100 which is 200 grams and sometimes it feels uncomfortably heavy.

I am a watch collector and a seller. This is a excellent video and recommend u6I have this watch except for I have the white dial/black bezel. Bought it off an eBay auction for $72. This video is spot on except for one thing. The watch doesn't feel heavy and the weight quoted I would have to see for myself because this watch and bracelet are very comfortable. I feel if it felt any lighter I would question the quality of the case and bracelet's 316L steel. I like the look of the skeleton hands but they are much difficult to see in low light settings. I did have difficulty sizing the bracelet at the jeweler's. Take out a link and too small. Put it back and too big. Not enough micro adjustments. They didn't help the fitting. Finally I settled for too tight rather than too loose because I know from experience that if you have my same problem, just wear the watch and after around 4-6 weeks it will loosen up. Mine has and I am close to the sweet spot for a perfect fit.. Until then I use jeweler's cleaning wipes to polish it and make the metal slicker. There is no point in buying an Omega when you can save your money for something else and get virtually the same watch.

I agree with your review that the hands need to be changed as it is too difficult to see them. As you stated more lume with non skelen hands would fix this.

Take your point on the 3 micro-adjust holes but what we DON'T want is a longer clasp - it would make it uncomfortable, And it needs open skeleton hands to follow the design of the original Seamaster.

You convinced me to pull the trigger on this watch, maybe the white face. However, slightly disappointed you didnt refer to the 2 other options for watchband, most specifically the Milanese (mesh). As I mentioned, you convinced me to pull the trigger on the watch plus the fact I prefer the 2021 version with date at 6pm vs. 2020's with the date at 3pm. Because of the online deals when we were discussing this, I scored the 2021 model with the bracelet for $117, great price! Even though tempted by the white face, I chose the black face/black bezel. Positives: The heavily discounted price! Great price point even without heavy discounts! It's now the upgraded 120 click bezel! Bezel has lume, nice move! No play in the bezel like Pagani is known for! Date at 6, not 3! Watch has great craftsmanship! Overall looks great! Sapphire Crystal! Yes, nice bracelet! Waris, you were right but still interested in their milanese mesh bracelet. Negatives: I have Never had so much trouble removing and re-inserting cotter pins until I met this watch--the engineering must be slightly off as far as (some) separate link pieces and drilled holes fitting into place and completely lining up! I now have 2 links that are completely locked into place without any cotter pin as holes cannot completely line up but the fit is so tight it holds in place as if pieces were pinned together! Also, the smaller area on hands for lume vs 2020 model, I think you made the comment about putting lume on the skeletal parts of the hands, I agree but thats probably asking for too much considering the excellent price point. Neutral: The crystal and bezel have such a high gloss I keep thinking there's still temporary plastic protectant that needs to be peeled off, that sense will probably go away as I continue to wear the watch Also, whenever I look at the face to see time, it picks up reflection of anything in its surroundings, including my ugly mug when I'm looking straight into it. Overall, thumbs up just as you gave! I really enjoy your videos but usually watching them on the TV, so I can give thumbs-up but not able to add comment. Got mine today but with black dial, the band is great with the female end links. Only thing like you said is the lume on the hands. Mine came with the non seiko movement so it does not hack but not a big deal. I wonder if the hands from a Phylida could be used 🤔
@@BassManStrikes Hey man, fellow watch modding nerd here. I know you've already said you've done it, but just for future in case you don't know. The hands are based on the movement! So is the dial, if you want to switch up the look of any pagani, just buy a dial and hands specifically made for the NH35, and the case size of your pagani and you'll be good to go. Hope you've got those hands on and ticking away!

The Phylida homage has a closer 300m Diver style bracelet in that it has screw links and a more closer clasp (but not the ratchet style, but you can buy aftermarket ratchet style clasps for it). I wonder if this or other homage bracelets off ali express would fit that case... hmmmm. Also, the double domed crystal looks excessive to me, would prefer it much milder. Seems as though they've overdone the link thickness.
Hi whilst I must admit that this piece does look very nice, I am aware that a brand called Phylida have been doing these seamaster homages for a while. Have you ever seen or tried one? Other reviews that I’ve seen indicate that they are well made and have very good lume.
I've got severe asthma so I am not allowed to go scuba diving, but in the remote possibility I was in a boat and forced to go for a scuba dive the play in the bezel would be unacceptable, and this means I simply cannot buy this watch
Thing is you buy an omega, and because they do a restyle and dumb down of the same watch upto 4 time per year or do some half arsed reissue ,they end up worth nothing. I don't agree with ripoff items but the mass produced Swiss watch industry totally deserves it. And I have 3 Swiss watches ,omega tag and zenith ,absolutely no rolex though, and a GS and a Ltd presage. Price span of nearly£400 too £8k but no real quality difference. And 1 pagani meca quartz cocktail for £30. I put a good strap on the pagani and it get more wrist time than the rest.

Bought this watch and it keeps time well unless I walk for an hour in the forest then it runs suddenly 15 seconds too fast in an hour. What could the problem be?
This watch really pushes the boundaries of what a homage watch is. It's a 1:1 copy of the Omega Seamaster except for the name on the dial and some minor details.

It's 100 meters according to the Pagani website. Bear in mind, that those are Chinese Meters (also known as "cm"). You possibly go swimming with it, but diving ... I wouldn't try.
Back play in the bezel is highly overrated as being a problem! Yes the bezel a has a bit of movement backwards but it doesn’t actually click into place during that back play but rather goes immediately back to the actual setting! And it’s worth mentioning that PD might have corrected this as mine doesn’t have the overrated “ back play”
Excellent review John, The pressed metal extension is rather disappointing. The Bezel wobble and back play don’t help matters any. - overall however - it’s a good watch for the price. Regards

Nice watch and nice homage but I think the hands are a disaster plus the bezel action is so far behind the quality of the rest of the watch for the money a good solid movement sapphire crystal but the bezel ruins it almost

This is a nice watch, but the Pagani "Daytona" is under $100 and is an excellent watch. There's no way I would pay over $200 for a Pagani Design, there's always something wrong with them, or will go wrong with them down the track.

Years ago when AR coating wasn't a thing I don't remember people complaining that they couldn't tell the time because the reflection was so terrible. AR coating is vastly overrated and I would never pay the ridiculous premiums for a watch that has it. You'd need to be almost registered blind for it to make any meaningful difference in your day today life. Same goes for lume.
i agree, its over rated can't really tell the difference I have a tag heuer with reflection coating saphire and its almos the same, if i didnt know i would never notice it. I just purchased this watch and also have the pd 1701 v3, and so far pretty impressed considering the cost.
I got this watch last week.Mine has the Miyota 8215 movement which does not hack.I did not get a NATO strap.Had I known I would not be getting a Seiko NH35A movement I would not have bought this piece of junk.
ya Im not a fan of the cheap Myota movements, that don't hack 2nd hand, even though some do last quiete a while, i wonder if you were able to return it since you didn't get what you wanted.

Other than adding their name and losing the helium escape value it’s a direct rip off! Even the name is laughable, perhaps they should rebrand to Pagani Copy😂. Under any other scenario this would be labelled a fake. I totally understand anyone who buys this watch simply because they enjoy the look, although anyone buying under the pretence of owning a SMP300 are simply deluding themselves.
I have had 4 Pagani Design watches and yes, it is cheap and it is a copy, but there is a significant value to this watch. It's fun to wear, has a very good design and has good components.
@@watchreviews4k yeah, I'll give it a watch. I always preferred the planet Ocean, so I bought one, but the cheaper seamaster has grown on me a lot since then. Might have saved a decent wedge if I'd have felt that way back then.

Get a Seiko, Tissot, or a Hamilton if that's the case. All sell great watches. Why buy some cheap replica knock-off. It looks identical except it says pagani. You might as well just buy a fake omega over this. At least you'll get the hollow brand recognition.
