The Zonda R is raw, unapologetic aggression, whereas the Huayra R is pure, concentrated fury. Both equally fucking terrifying lmao

Both some of the best sounding cars ever made, with their own touch. Zonda R sounds more savage and raw. Huayra R sounds more "refinded" in the acoustically tuned sense. Even though both engines rev out to 9000-ish rpm, the Huayra sounds much more high-pitched, akin to a small displacement F1 engine compared to the Zonda which has a more LMP kinda vibe to it. Both awesome and can never have enough of!

It's like hearing Beethoven and Mozart bang their heads together...

Both are masterpieces, but I genuinely prefer the Huayra R, just the design is so much cleaner, also it sounds even more like a F1 V12... still love both a lot!!

I love how Zonda R and Huayra R are so distinct in terms of overall character; the more I look into the little details, the more I appreciate both. Others before me have pointed it out, but I say we celebrate both of these automotive masterpieces. All due props to Mr. Pagani for crafting these amazing pieces of machinery!

I would go with the Huayra R. One of the greatest sounding exhaust notes in history. It sounds so refined and F1 car like. Absolute eargasm.

The Zonda is a little deeper, more raw, pissed off at idle to low rpm. The Huayra is a little more high strung, formula 1 like sound (not the neutered current f1 sound, don't get it twisted). I have to go with my gut, Zonda ftw.

The Zonda R, any day. Listen closely and you can distinctly tell that the Zonda R has that trademark V12 "wail" that just tugs at your emotions. I think that's that people mean when they're talking about cars with "soul" and "passion". The Huayra just sounds... "angry". For lack of a better description. But by the automotive gods I can listen to both all day. A sublime symphony of cylinders and fiery exhausts.

For me, nothing beats the distinct "Banshee Wail" of a Zonda

I prefer the Zonda. It perfectly represents the past and the present. Brutally roaring and snarling, but it's also harmonic and smooth. You can hear all the cylinders. You can hear a 4-cylinder, a V6, V8, and a V10, making up the V12. You can just hear all of them.

Nothing can beat a v12 sound

I love both of the cars the huayra r sounds like a F1 while the zonda r sounds like an in-game 2019 f1 car(correct me if im wrong) but id have to go with the huayra r its just much cleaner and a bone chilling scream to it makes it perfect and the design is really clean

Zonda R just has that really unique sound to it, while with the Huayra R you could just listen to the V12 F1s

Zonda kind of sounds like a slightly lower revving version of the early 90s v12 f1 cars like the Ferrari 641. The Huayra sounds totally unique in it's actual engine note, but the way it downshifts i think shares some similarities with the V10 F1 cars. Both amazing in their own rights
