I dont think so, but nobody is perfect, everybody make mistakes. I think this is one of them

Luganikos I don't want to discuss if "Вячеслав Родионов" is better or worse than Really GREAT Emmanuel Pahud, but you should try to analyze, what, I think, Pahud wanted to say.... Everybody has different shape of lips, with their OWN center, and it is not always in the visual center of the lips because of the shape of upper lip (not flat in the center, for example, that may cause problems in advanced level, when you try to center headjoint opening with visual center of the lips ). The trick is to find your center and to direct your "sound" (breath) to the middle, or, sometimes near the middle, of the headjoint's far wall. For example I'm sure that Denis Bouriakov is aiming air in the center of headjoint opening, but look, how he is playing... I think, Pahud says that you should not breathe to the sides of the embouchure hole.

I suggest you to watch the entire lenght of the video next time. He was pointing that issue and giving her an hint on HER position, it's not a rule for every flutist, as he said.
