I was pleasantly surprised at the price as well given the amount of stuff we get! Im sure you will get the chance to hunt 8* kushalas, just keep an eye out for them haha!

@@HauxYZ250 I'm actually gonna try and shoot for 6 star kushalas since somehow the tails are what's holding me back, and they should use less potions to clear

7 for rng events that favor people near cities. Why do we excuse this behavior so Niantic can make tons of money at the expense of fun (we could have all the fun or more often events if their pricing schemes weren't at the forefront of their game, keep people playing farming for months kind of thing, so they have more chances to spend money at our events). They could have better paid systems or just charge an acceptable one time fee, but people are more content paying nothing to play it then being lured with over the top predatory iaps, since when is 7 for a game seen as expensive but for an in-app purchase it's cheap. Living not close to the city I can walk 5-7 miles and barely get anything done.(30-40 mons) I hate this company ruining fun at a price, unfair to people playing at their bs rates. why can't events with people just always be open idk if they are because I'm so far out that It took 2 months before I even knew there were bigger outcrops and gathering points.

As a CB main. I'll be mostly doing Jho and Zin Hats. Maybe a few 8* kush here and there to make another g8 coil Currently sitting at 68 paid potions

If you buy the ticket you wont have to wait for the cooldown! If you can join more than 7 HATs during the event then its already worth it, so you dont necessarily have to play for 2 whole days haha!

That's the real advatage of the bow! Safe to use but very powerful haha! Hope you enjoy the event and less potions man! Go get those 100 kushalas

Ah yes the long playstyle insane damage while being very safe! That might be the way to go for this event to conserve potions haha!

@@PauwerPlays it's very safe indeed. I deal 3.2k front 3.9k back and 4.4k on aggressive dodger + sneak. Gunlance is a godsend tool to farm parts for the elemental weapons.

Yeah it just depends on how much HATs you do during the event :)

What armor setup are you using? :) I only killed 4 star monsters so up to that :P

@@Silasftww I don't know what monsters you have unlocked since the game has changed from when I was in 4 stars. But the most important part for GL is to take the Artillery skill so aim to get Basarios chest and pants. For the other parts I use black diablos helmet, rathian gauntlets and regular diablos belt. I get Artillery 3, Partbreaker 3 and Lock on.

@@le0castle Thanks! I just asked this question in another thread but what is best use for lock on? Its something I just need to learn by playing I guess? I got it but never used it. Find it hard to keep track on what eveyr material is used for, would have loved an interface in game where u click on the material and it says everything it used for.

Definitely pay to play but you can also choose to wait for your hp to recover for free

@@PauwerPlays of course but during events like these, since you have a limited amount of time you do want to get the most bang for your buck. or at least if would be great if they could increase the natural hp recovery rate, especially during events

@@PauwerPlays I wish it weren’t so, it really creates a lot of negative feelings toward ranged by melee players and a sense of elitism… healing def needs to be reworked in some way or at least just make potions accessible by crafting or zenny or something.

Japan has it priced at 1000 yen and here in the Philippines I don't think it's too bad. Good thing this paid event is totally optional and you can still get the materials you need even outside of the event

@PauwerPlays one of my loadouts is lv5 health boost & lv4 divine blessing. It's the rathian/legiana/paolumu build teamdarkside made. It's very useful since health boost affects healing speed in overworld

My logic was either buy tickets with gems or you can buy the paid event and get more :) The prices are absurd and you will inevitably spend more when you play the event. For our part, it's more of how can we take advantage of the system haha

​@@PauwerPlays Agree with that, it's a business strategy where you put a high price in the first case to then show a "cheaper solution". But even considering that, I feel it could have been a bigger scam, I'm a bit reassured on the price. It's good to see it's corresponding for some people
