My husband did that in his garage too. A whole kitchen cupboard set. He uses the flour bin to store his rags for cleaning up! This is what we will have facing us too.
Local house sold in my area about ten years ago, old man was the last to pass and the children wanted nothing to do with the house or contents so they sold it as-is, where is and told buyer it's on them, just walked away. The buyer found cans of money and coins stashed everywhere and lots of antiques. At the end of the day it paid for what they paid for the house.
You two are hilarious together - and you are on to another fabulous treasure hunt here - barely scratched the surface! Lots of work - of course, but you two are up for that!
What fun watching you two find treasures. I absolutely adore just Jeff. He’s very funny. You have a lot of work ahead of you. I look forward to seeing your next video.
Just Jeff: The Zevia sodas are a healthier alternative to diet sodas. They are sweetened with stevia which is a natural sweetener instead of artificial sweetener. Also they don't have any dyes. I like them, they're just a bit expensive, so I can't afford them that often.
Ok you know that old broken apart jewelry box from the top of first closet. There is a very pretty necklace or bracelet that is pink and in the shape of flowers. That looks very old may be rose crustal stones . Had a Flash back from my youth. Be good to one another, you make a good, oh and loony as ever 😉
I can already tell this is going to be a win. It's sad when you get to the age you have to walk away from your home. And everything you own. and your children don't want any of it. I'm going through the same thing myself. with my health and my age. I know it will be a boarding on them. So, I've already started giving stuff up. For as long as I can remember, I've been a collector of angels. I have already. given so many of them Away. and. I'm fixing to go through some more. to let go of. the two things that I refuse to give up. is my grandmother's old antique foot. paddle Sewing machine. and a Sewing machine that a lady that my mother took care of. She. was a silent screen movie star. It's one of the first electrode sewing machines. Miss Murphy had it painted blue. I hate seeing beautiful wood painted. So, I stripped it down. and refinished it. I have had it over 35 years now. and it still works. And so does my grandmothers.
Have a huge sale and use the money to take a vacation someplace you always wanted to go. Since you can't take it with you when you die sell it and go someplace fun.
I think these people who owned the house was in Germany for a bit of time. I know the laufrad kids foot powered bike. Also called a balance bike. Same exact construction from the German stores near where I lived.
@ 10:00 pneumatic tool is a vintage spark plug cleaner. Had mine since "72 and it was "previously owned" by an old mechanic who passed away. Still works great. Definitely good auction item. Looks cherry.
Ya it was from Harbor Freight I got one too and it works great. I fix small engine tools mowers I use it all the time. Just needs to fill it with sand blaster media if you use it a lot like I do. Great tool to have.
I love watching your videos. Without a doubt the pair of you, are the most real and friendly pair in the business. I do watch others, however your repartee is beyond compare; your interaction depicts honest friendship and knowledge without over the top histrionics some others do. Love Jesus and Amber too, just so you understand my preferences.😊
My dads old boss hid his cash in hamburger frozen in the freezer. It was in a Ziploc bag in the middle of the meat then wrapped up like it was game meat from a Elk or Deer.
I like to see you do house cleanouts. Unfortunately it is usually lead first by a sad circumstance. I do hope you do another video because I would like to see if you find the silver collection they were asking about. I tell you what, Jeff, Jeff is one silly man. The video is not the same when he is not there.
You have certainly got some work on your hands!! Just hope there isn't a room full of mirrors as all we will see is Just Jeff 😊 How long will it take to clear that all out?
Yes, we all accumulate too much...stuff. Things we THINK we want. Most people on moving to a new home find out how very much of their possessions they DON'T need. Not tchotchkis, no "collections" no "save it for later"s. I value my tools but ONLY keep what I actually use now.
Just out of curiosity, well I guess maybe they didn't need the money, but why didn't they have you auction off everything for them, rather than just relinquish it all to you? I'm just nosy LOL
My sister and I cleaned out moms house. We took what we wanted and told the junk man to take the rest. There was a lot of stuff probably some good stuff we left behind. I’m a reseller and did take stuff to sell. #handmadedawlingmercari. Too much!!
Are used to do those what didn’t go to the dump I used to put out in front of my house free to Savon dump fees. I didn’t let anybody open boxes or anything any of the employees you do it right straight to dump trash yeah we clean house like that out in a day as long as you open the boxes and you can’t save nothing OK re-once in a while .
We usually get contacted by lawyers or real estate agents. The family is usually trying to get the house sold as soon as possible because it's expensive to hold real estate with taxes, insurance, utilities & upkeep. Every situation is different and so is pricing
