I was wondering how you painted your stormcast as it's a really nice colour scheme. I think it's a shame there's not as much fabric on these models though, as the purple celestial tabards is probably my favourite part of them. Even if the ivory and gold neo-classical look is 👌 I painted the two stormcast warbands up a few weeks ago, but if I'd have seen you're colour scheme first, I might have nicked it for them.

Love how they turned out! While I agree with the nmm for the cloth, in reality there is cloth with real metal in it called cloth of gold/silver, so one could justify using metallic paints

I get you on the new Stormcast being so much more compelling. Between the aesthetic change (which I love) and the new rules, I don't really want to build the vast majority of the ~80 old Stormcast I have sitting on sprue. That said, I'm currently in the process of building the bases for my Dominion box, and have already assembled all of them. I've (finally) got my painting plan codified to something that won't suck out my life to batch paint, and I'm looking forward to get going.

Hell yeah, they look glorious! Can't wait to see them facing off against the kruleboyz!

This is one of the best stormcast paint jobs i have seen in a long time. The Diablo inspired armor with the purple celestial cloaks are just "chefs kiss". Out if curiosity, if you willing to divulge, what color purple did you use for the cloaks?

Walked by my FLGS & they had Dominion on sale for 73 Bucks. Over 50% off so yeah that box came home and now exploring AoS. Original plan was to use them for DnD, but might check out the game.

if u guys are not busy, can I have the tutorials of a tabletop games? a whie ago I’ve began to like this kind of stuffs and how u guys make the designs and creatures, and when I realized it’s a game, I wanted to learn and experience how to do it, since learning this can make me have fun playing this even if we’re using online ( idk this kind of stuffs since I’m from asia )

13:40 gold is malleable enough that you can make thread out of it, so it's not inconceivable to have golden fabric
