/ loisdavidsonart Here I try to paint a 'film noir' style urban cityscape in a loose style, it's a bit of an experiment, and I'm not sure that it quite worked, but it was a lot of fun, and a good starting point to learn to paint in this style!

Paynes grey, indigo, raw sienna, white gouache, Millford cold pressed watercolour paper, various brushes including hakes, rigger, flat brushes and squirrel mop
