I so enjoy watching and studying how you draw and paint. Watercolor can be tough for a beginner. I've painted in oils and acrylics but stayed away from watercolor. You, sir, has helped me put that first drawing pencil to paper as well as watercolor. Please don't stop. You are helping so many people around the world. I am from the USA. This painting turned out lovely. Landscape is so fun to paint. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you Peter for all your tutorials. I have grown my talent because of you. My watercolor is good. My goal is to do your style out of my memory/thoughts. Thank you from my whole heart! Your the best!
Thank you for watching? The Thanks is for you sir!!! I really love love love love love your drawing your style your painting your ideas your colours your notes your every thing!!!!!!! Thank you so so much for being here in RU-vid!!! Keep up going please!!! 💕
I found your art through pinterest & it led me here to your channel. Thank you for your videos! They've helped improved my art so much this last week. I was beginning to become frustrated and fed up feeling like I just _couldn't_ progress any further but your videos have really helped me and seeing my progression even in the smallest of lines and details really helped bring back some of that excitement for drawing and watercoloring that I felt like I was losing. Thank you so much for sharing your work!
Line and wash is starting to become my favorite form of art, your style is simple but effective really enjoy watching your paintings and videos thanks again
I absolutely love this drawing and painting of yours. There was just something about it that spoke to me. I used to live where birch trees grew, but now I am living in the high desert of Arizona.
Dear Peter I am an admirer of your work. I recently started watercolour painting and learning from your videos. I also use your work as reference, good as i can as a learner. Also duly acknowledge in my notionation before sharing it with others. Hope that is ok. Thanks for inspiring me !
I have been following your wonderful art for a couple of years now. I always enjoy your work and very often try it myself with such pleasure. Thanks, Peter!
I have long wanted to learn watercolor painting but kept putting it off with excuses, "I have no talent, I can't draw, watercolor is so difficult" you get the picture. Then a few months ago I found your tutorials....with an almost tachycardic heart and too much trepidation, supplies were pulled out of the drawer and I began. Your technique and wonderful teaching techniques are simply fabulous! Thank you for sharing and teaching!!
Beautiful, stress-free demo with no distracting prattle, just gentle, unobtrusive music. I am dedicating a special hard back book to pen and wash inspired by you. Just one thing, your info seems to be missing from this one although it doesn’t really matter as you have it all on screen. Thank you.
Wow, I had so much fun painting this! You are an incredible artist and teacher! Thank you so much for sharing your tutorials and knowledge. I just bought my first set of watercolor paints and came to your RU-vid for help on how to paint! I'm off to find another...
This has been one of the most relaxing and wonderful painting videos I have seen...love your work especially pen and water colour ..my favorite medium.. well done
Hello good day!!!!! I live in Manaus - Brazil 🇧🇷 ... I admire your work, I have as a reference, through them I try to improve mine, very beautiful works, congratulations ... ✨🖌️🎨💞🌹
After first 5 mins, I thought yes, the scene is perfect... wonder why the video is so long. Then you'd go and add something, and I'd think, oh, right, now its perfect, and then you'd add the next thing and make it even more (?) perfect! 😃😃
I'll appreciate if you tell us why are you choosing the specific pens and papers, as you do. I don't understand their differences or the purpose of those differences at all. Thanx!
thanks for sharing all your beautiful work, a precious source of inspiration. Would you mind telling how you prep your plastic palette in a way that colors mix nicely and don't bead ?
Some people have success with either a "magic eraser" (from the cleaning section of your local store), an actual rubber eraser, toothpaste, or very fine grain sandpaper. Basically you want to scrub the very top of the surface off without tearing it up too much.
Love this. Just wondering if you slant your painting up a little to get the colors to move downward? Also, is the palette you're working from a "permanent" palette that you use for landscape paintings? It looks like you've got everything set up to have just the colors you need for this type of painting right at hand.
Thank you so much for so many projects to share! This is the third one of yours I will be painting. I do have a question if you don't mind. Do you squeeze fresh paint from tubes for every painting? If not, do you keep the paint on you palette moist somehow? Thank you!
