I love going on these little adventures with you. You go to all the places I always begged my parents and husband to stop at when we drove cross country and they just thought I was kidding most of the time and I felt so dumb I fake agreed. going on a cross country trip next week and I may just push my weight around and make him stop at a few cool spots.

Loved the Cross & Stations - thank you for showing them. You find the BEST spots to camp. I loved that shady, lakeview that you took. Perfect and quiet after your previously noisy night.
I miss Texas so much! Even if it is hot as heck! 28 yrs in the Lone Star State made me feel like an official Texan. I hope to buy my camper and head West in the not-too-distant future. Thanks for helping me reminisce about my Texas days! Love and hugs to Jax.
Good call avoiding politics and religion. I love your channel. As a fellow cat dad, rock on. I'm working on making my life mobile. Oh and even if cats are declawed, it's a scent and stretching thing. Cats muscles are hooked up that that kinda stretching keeps them fit.

The reason there was not many campers is because that general area went through a long draught and Lake McClellan had come near drying out to extreme low Low levels. I was born and raised in Pampa, TX. I'm now living in OH. My dad still lives there and we make yearly trips to see him. Every visit, in our RV, I wanted to camp at McClellan but Dad would show me news articles of how dry it was. Glad to see its regained some beauty. It was a regular camp spot, growing up, in Pampa.

Good video. I would move the Jax stroller back to where it was in under storage to allow him access to both mid section and right seat. Some times he might like a little more distance and freedom. Pretty easy to adjust the Jax cam.
In Hemphill, Texas (In East Texas about 25 miles from where I live) Conway Twitty opened one of his few, and unsuccessful, Twitty Burger restaurants. That is a LOOOOONG way from Conway, Texas! Love your videos and am binge watching!
Thanks for mentioning Effingham! I have been to the Good Friday services there. You can see the lit up cross through the window at night. Towards the end of the service, the cross turns red with the red filter they put in. Then it goes back white on Easter morning.

#22 Good Morning, Eric. Very interesting Video, I was there in early May and seen the tires and the water tower! Also the Cross was very pronounced. About a mile east of McLean, Texas the wind blew off my front top marker light module. I'm still awaiting for a replacement. I don't understand why it came off, it should have stood up to the high winds.

I've been to that place at Groom, It's awesome! Don't know of you went into the main building, but they have a beautiful indoor water fall! plus gift shop. If you didn't, you really missed it!

Don't stress so much about the tornadoes. I've lived in Kansas for 43 years and never saw a tornado. Lived on North side of city and storms would 'burn out' over the city, reducing in intensity as temperature in city is higher. Tornado storms usually run SW to NE ... Is little know fact about buying tornado-safe house in Mid-west. Might just look around for ditch when you go to sleep nightly and make sure you have the weather app set to send you alert if camping outside town. May not get a tornado warning if cell service is bad...Best shelter outside of a basement is lie down in ditch if you hear the train coming...
Great Video, love all the info & gps. Have you thought of traveling east towards Tenn. Great places there. Then work your way North. I am in Michigan now and believe it or not it's HOT. Amazon sells a bottle of liquid tester and even some bottled water would scare you. You want to monitor the ph level of your water. the kit sells for under $10,
What does scratching the tree do for Jax? It hones his claws and helps him remove the dead sheaths. I'm hoping you have some kind of scratching post in the camper...Jax (all cats) need it.😸🐈
