*Man I tell you what for a 20 year old RV that doesn't look all that badly! It was awesome meeting you two yesterday by the way! Safe travels!!* -JTRVN
For the cost of paint, tape, time you could buy the graphics. Also, the paint is applied to old vinyl which may have questionable holding power over time.
The 'holding power' isn't as questionable as the surface they provide for paint or anything else applied on top of them. All the issues of the old decals will telegraph through anything placed on top of them. Clearly this is the type of thing peeps too cheap, lazy or can't afford to do the job correctly will pursue. A heat gun and a plastic razor blade scraper makes for boring work but it really isn't all that bad.
You would not have cracked graphics? I have had 3 rvs. Keep it washed and clean? And get professional wax for your rv and wax twice a year and keep a cover over it when not traveling.. it will look brand new after 20 years if your take the time and take care of it.
Thanks @rictech for the Great tip and I agree. Unfortunately, when people buy used, they often inherit those graphics. When we purchased the RV on the video, we bought it like that. Always look forward to your comments
I used a razor blade on my decals that were definitely wore out and it made my whole unit look fresh and new again, especially after a nice wash and wax 😊
I HATE Rv graphics. They are ugly & grotesque. What I LOVE is the murals we see on the sides of u-haul trucks. San Francisco, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Martha Vineyards. Thats what I wish was on my Rv. My graphics are cracking & a heatgun will peel them off which I will do soon. !

He that's great send me a pic when you are done. I did use a lot of cans but 14 per stripe. Each color I used 4 to 5 cans. Your stipes could by wider and need additional cans. I felt it our when I did my first stripe.
Thank you for your question. I did one side in 2 and half days. The hardest part was taping it off. I will try to post a couple of extra pics. My computer is down at the moment.
Samuel, unfortunately my videos became corrupt and we lost a lot of videos they we were going to post. But the paint job is holding up. It still looks like i just painted it..
Donna, Thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I had several upcoming videos that were on our camera, and all the files were corrupted, including the second video. They all had to be deleted... But what can you do? I now download them to my computer as quickly as I can..
