Cheers, my figure painting is still an on going project, but the results are decent for a diorama. I only really want to speed so much time doing them.
Thanks for watching the video. I know the feeling about figures. I’ve tried to break the process down with my videos, although my faces still need practice. 🙂
This was the first set I ever bought, back in the day. Obviously didn’t turn out anything like these guys, had almost everything just painted fieldgrey🙈 Like the way you chipped & scratched the helmets in particular, nice job overall👍
Look alright than for highlighting n shadow I'll try it later on some figures I'm putting in a diorama with them new full interior stugs got 2 going under the gantry cranes bit anything to make the figure painting abit bitter cheers for sharing 👍
Cheers, i’m just trying to find methods that look ok for the time we put in. The oil paints were a bit surprise, blending was a lot easier and with some practice could be quick.
Very nice demo. Some new ideas there. Never really thought of using the airbrush on a figure - I'll certainly give it a go with the pre-shading. The helmet chipping is a great touch too. Good stuff. 👏👏👏👍
Outstanding! I’m trying to elevate my painting skills to your level right now. Let’s say that one Landser that you featured has a private-purchase knife/bayonet, as the standard issue ones had metal sheaths!
Cheers, I was experimenting with a different method as I don’t wish to spend ages figure painting and then still be unhappy. I’ve done a few figure videos check to playlist I created.👍
I have recently brought figures for late war camo. It is something I need to do. Its just getting the right method and approach, having dioramas to do I don’t want to spend ages doing them, but want a certain level of quality and approach everybody can have a go at. Hope that helps. Merry Xmas mate.
Cheers thanks for watching, I worked off references for some of the details, and went for contrast with some other things. Just my interpretation, always appreciate feedback.👍
Nice video.your video is shot very well very clear to step by step to teach, how to painting for figure even which color you also show to us,I very like about this because I always watch painting figure video but they just painting didn’t so which color for that but this make me complicated ,I should use which color is right,Subscribe your video keep going 👍🫡
@@ringo123rrr many thanks for the comment, I agree about paint colours with other videos. Here’s a link to my figure painting playlist ru-vid.com/group/PLZw32gKniSjfGzFU8Qp47ngR3ikDwbFUl 🙂
Hi hope your well, the Tamiya paints aren’t the best with a brush. Another method however is use an acrylic paint such as revell, vallejo or humbrol and thin it. You apply thin coats, the colour will pool a little in shadows etc. just stop when happy. Its not as quick as the airbrush but if you look at my video regarding German vignette below the guy with the MG42 was done this way as an experiment.( not really filmed though). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zbc0rvvnpkE.html
