Thank you for sharing this! This is great and explains Geli Plate printing clearly! I’ve dabbled with them but have not had great results! I can’t wait to try it using paint inlays! Sister Stockiest in USA 🤗
You are so welcome!! I’m only new to Gelli printing, so my results too are a bit hit and miss. But I’m enjoying the joyful mess! Please let me know if you give it a go.
A paint inlay is a product from Iron Orchid Designs that is unlike anything else. When the dry paint on the carrier sheet touches the wet paint it reactivates and embeds itself into the paint. It’s typically used for furniture or decor items, however I wanted to try it with my paper crafts but to active it the carrier sheet needs to be wet and it would work trying to transfer it into paint of paper. @@SignedJaclyn hi , I was thinking if the paper was thicker it wouldn't buckle. The art just comes out so so beautiful. I don't have the supplies yet but soon hopefully ill have them. Gosh, what an incredible method !!
@@Bowerbutterfly I’d love to see how you go with the watercolour paper. I have printed on watercolour paper, but I’ve not used the paint inlay method with the watercolour paper yet.
