That spray gun seems nice but the way tha clear lays down and has that flat water looking shine is 95% the guy spraying it perfect technique and overlap
How do you get it so it doesn’t run. Whenever I paint with a spray gun or spray paint I get runs and I stay farther away do more coats instead of one or 2 heavy coats
I’m gonna regret this, but I’ll try for the sake of participation. If you’re in a professional shop, I’m betting the shop/dealer dictates that. But if you are doing your own car, more is more. Some custom show-cars see 6 coats of clear, just so they can wet-sand and polish it to perfection. Most modern cars have such little clear that you can’t cut/polish much if any. But that’s just my opinion.
Light coat…and wait between coats if you’re doing multiple. I don’t want to tell you how long-to, but for an at-home job I like 10 minutes (with a timer). Time is your friend. If you rush, it will run.
@@felipesantander2305 Adding reducer is usually 10% or 15% depending on what material you are using. Your paint/clearcoat has a mixing ratio on the can or will it be listed on a data sheet you can ask your rep/supplier for when you are choosing what product to go with
