E’LAST tend to have a really unique song structure which can make a first listen a bit confusing since a lot of kpop follows a similar structure. Their songs are pretty unpredictable in my opinion! I like that about them, and their sound as a whole feels very refreshing. This comeback was awesome!
They gave Wonjun the red hair rapper so many lines because he was absent in the privious comebeack of the whole group . I think it is fair that they did that you still get to hear how good all of them are
If you follow in their mv's, you'll realize that there's a story being told throughout. Unfortunately I myself haven't checked the lyrics yet, but music video wise, (if you watch them all in order) you can more or less figure out a story line. Great reaction!!! Hope you get to learning more about E'Last! They're a really great group, and their individual personalities and just so wholesome!!! 😊😊😊
Did you know e'last logo is a natural symbol in music notation and is written like E♮last as if E♮(E natural)? 🤗 Whoever's behind them was or is a classical musician for sure, their songs structure borrow a lot from academic music that's why they're so unique in K-POP!
I think I actually started looking into E'Last after I saw your Dangerous reaction a long time ago and I'm really really proud of how far they've come now!! they really had an elevation in budget, production, and visuals for this one, and they deserve every bit of it, I'm so happy for them!! 🥺 a couple fun facts in the MV: - there are a lot rectangular blue frames around, one of which was present in both their TOC and Dangerous MVs - earlier this year, they had a unit called E'Last U, and both when they were releasing teasers and in the MV, when you see half of the members in red and half in white, the members in white were in E'Last U, and the ones in red were not - they enter the clock at the end, and the choreo where they "stab" themselves is also in the intro of their Swear choreo. which would make sense if this era does wrap up part of their storyline (aka it's in the "beginning" and the "end") - the blue butterfly!! not sure if it appeared earlier than when I saw it at the end, but it was also in TOC if anyone likes making connections in MVs there's definitely some cool things to look out for and I know I probably didn't even catch anything but these were just a few things I noticed!!
This is just so good!! I love how the melodrama of it reminds me of 2nd-gen, and indeed, if you thought their previous title tracks sounded like film scores, this sounds even more like purely a film score, since it's hard to really discern the typical pop song structure in it! ;o
Just like my other ult group Pentagon, E’Last doesn’t follow the trend and consistently makes their own unique sound which I love so much; they’re growing and it’s so cool to see them do so well! Thank you so much for reacting :3
Dark Dream was my intro to them. And boy am I sad I've been missing out on this AMAZING group!! But I'm grateful to be here now! They are so different. I find myself just getting lost in their tracks!
The first thing I do after waking up on the day of an E'Last release is listen to it repeatedly all day. Then I go and look for your reaction, you're always so early! As per usual, their b-sides from this have less of the dramatic vibe, but the title tracks thus far sound like they have their own personal orchestra hiding somewhere 😁
yow maknae on top..the way yejun on the thumbnail...i see...haha anyway after see the lyric, its so deep meaning tho...at wonjun part omg i literally want to cry....its so sad...
I agree the the structure is different so the first listen I really liked the song but it was hard to grasp and I was slightly confused. By the second and third listen tho I totally understood the structure and now it's all I've been listening to today lol
I loved this song on first listen! I like that e last stand out in a sea of boy groups, no one is doing it like them! I hope people will stop sleeping on them.
