Edwin...thats a mirror my friend!Well...all the prep videos was amazing but your paint videos are top of the top my friend!Your position must be only in the booth!!!
Está bem pintado. E até talvez para a Holanda aquele disfarce até " aguente". Mas para Portugal e sobretudo tudo no Algarve, aquele disfarce vai pelar um ano depois.
friend and i work with the same paint and with the same lake first hand lacquer gun sata nozzle 1.3 first hand lac apply full pressure 1.9 and second hand apply 2.2 for the structure if you understand what I say! good luck in the future
Meine Meinung dazu. 😉
Great video! But beware of using pure colour blender when blending dark color standoblue base. Refering to Standox TDS it´s not recommended to use for dark colors. (If bad luck, you can get milky streaks that will show thru clear at the edge of blending zone) If i blend dark colors, sometimes im not using colorblender at all (non metallics) and sometimes i tint the dark base with blender within the colormix itself...try it sometimes, works good especially on pearls/metallics! You will get a smoother softer blend.
My Favorit Channel. 4 dni temu Thanks! Yes it is,when you stop at the edges you create build up and give runners👍 I GUESS IT IS NOT WHAT HE MEANT AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING U STILL HAVE THE EDGE . WHY NOT DOING EVERYTHING I ONE PASS OR OPENING THE DOORS AND MASKING INSIDE. WHAT IS THAT MISERY ON TOP OF THE ROOF AND THAT SPRAY - CAN POST WORK?
Yes. She spray paint fog on the door edge, and if been bit different of color, nobody will see the different. Thats why use first Binder. This is the best solution how will exectly same color the side parts!
Я пол видюхи орал нахуя, нахуя такие паузы, нахуя туда полез, а потом мусор достаёт. Так с мс лаком нельзя работать, хотя нравиться полировать видать...
I really don't understand why you spray blender?! This color is not so difficult to spray out. I think mutch easyer to spary first layer only for the primer. After one more layer and that's all.
It is all about the end result,no blender also mean alot of dust from the overspray, even when you spray more clear to cover the overspray,in weeks you will see all tiny marks where the overspray was even when you wipe away the overspray before clearing. So blender works both sides easyer to blend difficult colors and pick up loose parts that can create trouble in the end results. By the way when trying to spray away the overspray runners are coming more easy, what you think? And why would you not use a blender. Look older vids of me painting i did for years not using blender even with light colors
Nice job! But wont this wear uneven if you leave this untreated for a while? During the first spray you didnt cover the D pillar as much as maybe around the wheel, so there must be an uneven layer of paint on there. Looks awesome tho, cool V90!!
@@DutchCarPainter Thanks for the explanation, I was told by a guy at a firm about my own car having a rust bubble and he explained the same thing about the blending zone :)
Why would you Blend the clear half way through the pillar? Rookie move? Then a few months later your blend will begin to show signs after the uv's attack it...
What a nice job dude.. I learned something new from your videos But can you tell me what a liquid you put on the car before you put paint on it ? Ty and salam from Indonesia
@@balicea78 i think what Adzanna is refering is the blender he applied before puting down the color. it's a blender you use when you are doing blends on panels.
@ David Rato I know I am aware of the blend prep aka wet bed but really not needed on such a dark color! I was referring to the way the panel is prepared for color..also did you see the comment I posted about his method for cutting the clear instead of clearing the whole pillar. Thanx
You are right Edwin that looks real nice and laser straight and dirt free. Looks great. Is that waterborne basecoat? If it is, that stuff works. Thanks and take care.
Love that color! Not a fan of this mans paint technique tho. I prefer the full panel to panel move with the whole car not stand in one spot and paint half the panel or pillar. Too many high and low spots that need extra sanding and matching needing. Overall the car looks great tho.
Agree. Also I usually spray test panels to adjust my guns for proper match on the orange peel. He seems to spray very flat which leaves a beautiful finish but probably doesn't match the factory texture.
It's a blend spray for blending in the new lacquer/clear coat on to the old clear coat. Melts the 2 coats together and prevents discoloration, or shade change where the two coats overlap.
Pot Precious The one he is using is called smart blend, but there are other are other manufacturers who make the same thing. Will have a similar name, like blend coat.
I believe he used a "wet bed", which is basically a clear paint which helps the basecoat to blend better to the original paint. It helps to stop shade changes, or where metallic paint particles may not lie down the same as the main part that is being painted. This means that instead of the basecoat blend going on a bit dry, it goes on a wet surface, and lies the same as the paint on the rest of the repair. This can be seen particularly on silver cars where a wet bed hasn't been used and a dark shadow appears on the blend between the old and new basecoats.
We should check the color code first of all, after we check if we have a sprayed card we check the match is okey or not. Every color system as like standox, ppg, sikkens, spies hecker, etc has a color box we check this as well or if we did not find the best one we can measure with a spectrometer and the computer choose the est one.
