After 7 months I am backヽ(✿ﾟ▽ﾟ)ノ
I am so happy with these customs :'D Finally the pasture diorama has some permanent inhabitants :) Hope you enjoy watching the process!
I'm thinking of making a tutorial ish video in the future where I go more in depth about customizing. I would go into detail about what materials to use and where to get them, what technques to use etc. etc. I'd love to hear your thoughts and what you'd want to see in a video like that! No promises yet tho ;)

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU FOR CUSTOMIZING IMPERFECT MODELS!! I see so many horse models that just look perfect? They’re beautiful, but they don’t have nearly as much “character” as I’d describe it. Perfect models don’t feel nearly as real, so they don’t fascinate me as these beautifully realistic models and painting are. I love it :)

For me, it comes down to the amount of detail you add to this - blows me away EVERY TIME! Adding extra apoxie for realism, but only a little, hair by hair on the foal, outlining of the veins, soft highlights and lowlights, just the way you showcase the small things so beautifully. Absolutely gorgeous, they are adorable! If you wanted to try something new, I recommend Milliput apoxie over Aves - I switched to this a few weeks ago and never looked back. Love how much more detail it can capture, it is a little softer but that helps encompass overall realism to the model, also way easier to smooth out. Love milliput apoxie!

as a dog groomer, your fear of the dremel is so funny to me because i totally get it LOL. they can be bastards, especially if you dont have a strong wrist. another fantastic custom though!! your vids always inspire me to draw some more horsies as someone who hasnt really been doing art anymore for upwards of 3-4 years now (sorta like a long art block). youre just like me when it comes to detail, i love doing details so much! i also completely understand the chronic illness thing, never feel bad about it though, youre doing your best! i would absolutely LOVE to see what you do with that new model of the lesson horse you got, i LOVE her under-muscled look.

Your an amazing artist. You do such beautiful detail work. I can see why projects exhaust you. It must patience and focus. Maybe doing projects in parts like Part 1, 2 etc. That way you can take breaks and not feel pressured to push or anything. ❤😊
