And for those who asked about location, yes this is Egypt. And for those who inquired about life in Egypt, no.. camels are not everywhere lol, they are found only in touristic place. One second there's a pile of sand the next there's sand dunes and a camel and I'm like where did that come from?!?!?

This was popular in America in the 1970's. I used to make landscapes with mountains, trees, clouds, and flying birds. I used a wooden skewer to cut into and shape the sand.

This is true art; being able to make something amazing with materials so basic. And to all the haters below--how about you try it? And I'll be there, judging you. Sand art is a little more complicated than people think.

And when he's finally done the customer goes like.. Meh, I don't like camels. :)

These guy are Egyptains from their accent, and the croaching camel means we are in a touristic spot. The lack of crowdiness, the lack of car horns means we are not in Cairo or Alexandria. I wish I could make out the parked cars plates. The Europeans running around in their shorts means we are near a sea resort. My guess "Ghardaga" or "Sharm Al-Sheik". By the way, that's a beautiful camel in that empty salad dressing jar. Just beautiful.

Thank god they pack the sand down, because I have absolutely no self control and, sooner or later, I would get the irresistible urge to shake it.

Amazing! At first I was like, oh cool he's making pretty colours and swirls in the bottle with sand. And then it turned into a freaking camel!!

I'm impressed by how none of the sand in those boxes is mixed at all. Like when he has a spoonful of yellow, red and brown sand and just casually shakes off some yellow, without dropping a single grain of red or brown. That's some good sand control. :) Beautiful art as well.

That's unbelievable! The talent, time and patience put into this is beyond a beautiful piece of artwork. Sadly though, if I visited Egypt and purchased one of your "sand art bottles", I can't imagine how I'd be able to fly home with it. As a carry-on---nope---TSA wouldn't allow it and in a packed, tossed around piece of luggage it would become an abstract Picasso-esque bottle of sand. You are one, amazing artist, sir. I actually got some of these sand bottles when I went to Lebanon with my family when I was around 10 years old! 😄 My brother actually got a camel design in his sand bottle!!! I had a sunset!!! So happy to see this amazing talent again!!!

About 50 years ago, my school took me to the Isle of Wight (UK), and we were all amazed at the multi colour sand stuff for sale. I bought my mother a pencil with stripes (!) of sand in a test tube thing on the end. She was also impressed (when she died, I got it back!) I can't imagine how astounded we would have been if this fellow had been there! What a great skill he has. I do hope that his produce is sold for a sensible price, not undervalued - I know how tight tourists can be with their money.

Wow, I am impressed. I have been to the Isle of Wight (a beautiful island off the South coast of England) where they have many different colours of sand in a place called Alum Bay. The souvenir shops on the island are full of glass and plastic bottles that are filled with the coloured sand, or there are places where tourists can full bottles themselves, but I have never seen anything like this. Such skill and beauty, it puts the sands of Alum Bay to shame.
