Seriously? There is a thumbs down for this video? Mural Joe's work on this church ceiling is of sublime quality. In 500 years this work will be just as famous as The Sistine Chapel
Mural Joe, years from now you will be celebrated as one of the master painters of our day! Love your work! I've often dreamed about this being done to the ceiling of my parish!
This video was SO FUN to watch. I get a sore neck just watching you paint on the ceiling all day! Lol. It turned out fantastic! I'm so glad they restored this building. What a treasure!
I have to say "this is absolutely magnificent!". Joe you are such a blessing to the world! Not only your talent, but your generosity of sharing, and teaching. Thank you!!!
you are awesome...how thrilled the worshipers will be to see this each week. I have enjoyed everything I have watched and have learned a great deal. One of the things I have learned is that I don't have the talent for what you do. I am thankful for artists like you who are able to make so many people happy with your work.
Absolutely Fantastic Joe!. I admire your wisdom... your drive for perfection... your enthusiasm to teach. Truly remarkable and inspirational. Keep it up ! Be well brother !.
Congratulations !👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏 You and your helper Vinnie did a fabulous job! My neck hurt just watching! It was quite wonderful of you to give that much of yourself for your murals!
Thanks for sharing your world with us Joe. I really enjoyed watching you and Vince work and all the people you included. I bet the young artist were truly inspired and will take the experience to even a higher level way up in the clouds. :-)
Inspiratiion!!! this video reminds how much hard word, dedication, and ambition pays off. I have my days where i lose focus and at my lowest i see this and it pulls me back up. THANK YOU JOE!!!!!
I really enjoyed seeing you all excited when you started to really get into the job! And Love the result! (I am a nerdy painter too, you got me on board! ;-))👋)
Absolutely stunning! Please keep doing your art research and sharing your findings with us, I love to watch your videos as not only do I learn new techniques, but acquire a wealth of knowledge on the "how & why" of things - THANK YOU!!!
Your work is so amazing. You have God given talent so blessed are those that follow their God given talents. You must be so proud of this work for when you think of it so many years to come and have people admire your work and talent.
Joe, this is so incredible. I aspire to do these types of jobs and seeing this really helps me to understand the process better. Thank you for your lessons they are very helpful. Wishing you al the best. Keep up the great work!
What a wonderful commision. you're doing a beautiful job as you always do. I have a lot of practicing to do since i haven't picked up a brush in nearly 40 years. But now I have lots of time since recently retiring. I'll be watching your progress with the ceiling. All of your videos have helped a lot but I still have a lot to learn.
Congratulations on a superb work of art, that must have really used all of your stamina,... just climbing up and down that scaffold tower is bad enough, especially if you have forgotten something back on ground level, well done Joe.
WOW!!!!! We have a lot in common like i said prior ive painted for years back in the day interior /exterior with a lot of the paints you used in one of your videos or you use period. i was watching how you were using contractor brushes as well . ive painted houses off scaffold but no more then 30 ft high back then lol .. but im watching your videos and commented that some artist way back painted with reg paint like house paints the funny thing is i was envisioning the person painting in churches like angels and stuff that would be in a church . duh i saw the name mural joe the whole time not knowing that you actually painted in church yourself omg how beautiful is that ? ! i wish i could have done a workshop with you for the 3 days in learning how to paint beautiful ocean type scenes ...i am so glad that you do take the time out to teach online ..the whole moral of the story is i didn't catch on right away that you are such an incredible artist! meaning above and beyond what i thought. anyways you are truly blessed and i am thankful that you do share your talent with others .sorry such a long comment also i heard you say a lot of nice things about Bob Ross i would watch him as a youngster and would dream that some day i could learn how to paint like that ..i know he would definitely be proud of you . just saying :)
ripperoni harambe Do they? No trying to dis you but did you know for instance: He created the "Boom Boom HuckJam" (look it up, it is something else) He is involved in philanthropic activities, like his own "Tony Hawk Foundation" building 400 skate parks in low-income areas. He skated the White House on an invitation of president Obama. Most people don't know that Tony Hawk.
Amazing and wonderful as always Joe!! My brother, Brad Robinson, is a blacksmith in Richmond and I've told him that he needs to stop by and see your beautiful work up close. Thank you for sharing your work...I love clouds. I'm always taking pictures of them.
très beau travail d'équipe et toujours aussi bon 👏 le temps, le courage et l'illusion est encore plus grand avec beaucoup de plaisir à voir dans ce lieu qui mérite d'avoir la tête dans les nuages 😁
Explain because I'm confused... week 15 and you start with day one and end about two weeks later? I'm lost I think. Awesome concept and immaculate execution. For the next century this will be totally acceptable. Can you imagine? In a few 100 years some guys will be restoring this painting probably with a grant from the state for millions of dollars..... I mean just imagine how cool that would be. You are partly immortal now.
God bless you joe on the magnificent clouds you have done...I paint myself , but being up that high with my fear of heights, theres no way i could even think about that kind of rendering...How did you deal being up that high?......
Hey Joe, Just Plain Artist Marty here. Maybe if you could some how record a view from floor looking up at work area LIVE, and view it from scaffolding while you paint? Just thinking.
