Watercolors allow you to have saturation levels from 0 to 100 like oils, it just depends on the amount of water you use. Also, having bright yellow and black with orange in between enhances the contrast.

My friend always tells me that the way I do watercolour painting is not right! It looks like poster colour! But this video is living proof that there are no rules and no right or Wrong in art! We can make our own methods and make a masterpiece! Just look at this...at first glance no one would be able to tell this is watercolour! The reason I clicked on this video! But it is! And the results are amazing! This is cool! Thank you so much for this video. Now I can do my watercolour style without the fear of not doing it right!...although it still wouldn't be as good as yours😄

there are no rights and wrongs but there are techniques. and some people think more traditional techniques are the proper way to use a medium. this is just an opinion based thing. don't let others invalidate your work because of how they think but knowing more than one way of working with your materials never hurt

@jtpaar1732 4 года назад
Art is subjective, but there are always 'art snobs' who will look down on others who don't do things the way THEY think they should. Please feel free to ignore such people. Originality never arises out of conformity. And happy painting!

aint a friend if they say what you’re doing is wrong, a friend is supposed to support you!! especially with art it is necessary to have a support network that will appreciate you for both your mistakes and achievements, because both are necessary for growth :) tell your friend to shut up or go find someone else who will love your art and you for who you are!

@@maf.eats2024 but especially with watercolour, I'd argue that the tools are extremely important. If you were to use 80g/m² paper, your colours will either not bleed or the paper will rip if you use more than one layer of colour.

Wow... the variety of colors you use, all the different techniques, the balanced and flowing composition. The way you direct the paint to capture the contrast of the fire's hues, the hot bright areas complimenting the darker ones and the well thought out background. Not a single part of this painting seems forced, just fluid. It is amazing to see someone breathe life into paper and then animate it so elegantly, so realistic it's almost unreal. I could go on.. just so inspiring. So I'm gonna go get my watercolor paper now. Wow dude 👏🎨
