Painting Mugs - Keep Your Paint On! 

Your mugs look great! I’m glad they are holding up. Did you seal both with that sealer? I’m struggling to find a sealer that doesn’t leave streaks. Thanks!

I suppose since they can go in the oven, they are also microwave safe?

@@gmortera I guess that would depend on the paint used (metals and microwaves, not good) but I don't know as I don't microwave my mugs

Thanks! Yes, you should be careful. I'v not had a problem but it would be an issue with a sudden change in temperature.

Sounds great! As with all paints, I'd advise keeping it away from the lip area but there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

It's far better to use an airbrush with proper airbrush paints, or depending on usage, inks or even food dyes. Any airbrush supplier will sell paint thinners if it needs to be thinned at all but you must match the paint with the right thinner. There are plenty of videos on YT on airbrushing, just find one that suits your needs.

It was Jacquard Lumiere ones, basically a metallic acrylic. I couldn't find an Amazon link to them..

Gosh, it was a while ago. I may have made it myself, if I didn't, the image would have come from Pixabay, a free image site.

It is acrylic paint and if the instructions in the video are followed, will stay put.

Acrylic paint. I like to use Jacquard Lumiere, Vallejo colour changing airbrush paints or craft metallics.

As long as you can keep it in place, use what you like. Vinyl is good as it stops seepage.

createinspain thank you ! By the way, I cannot find the " cadence" etching cream or the other product you mentioned at the end. I live in the Usa. I will try the " Armor" etching cream you put the link under this video. Cheers!

I checked this video and there is nothing wrong with the sound. I am not whispering and there isn't a problem with my diction.. Sometimes there can be problems with the device you listen on. It has been known for example for those using ear buds, that the phone / laptop or whatever does not switch properly between modes, or there is a setting not set correctly. I couldn't listen to this at full volume, it would be too loud!
