Hey Kira! (Cant spell) About the Windigo, as a Native American a windigos for me wasnt a big part if my childhood but it was basically just a scary story for children lol I dont find it offensive, I love your oc she is so pretty and I dont want you to change a thing about her

@@kra_hme despite your personal feelings, a lot of anishinaabe people do find it somewhat offensive that wendigoag are made into a 'general' fun spooky cryptid. It's silly for a bunch of white people to argue about it on youtube, that much is true, but to not even KNOW what people's folklore and beliefs the creature comes from is the very core of the problem. It's just a bit of a disrespectful attitude tbh.

Oh definitely! The problem with Spider-Man is that he is so often portrayed in SUPER dynamic poses that you can’t just bust out a random spider man.

oh my goodness I would literally love it if you talked more about Orchid, Paul, and Randler. Orchid's design is so freaking cute!! I find spiderman SO difficult to draw too! There’s so few colors, you have to rely so heavily on anatomy, there’s no face or hair so expression is entirely in the pose!!!! I’ve never been able to draw him omg!!!!!

Your first character and her story, verry kids on bikes vibes, verry nice! (Also glad to see that the spreading awareness about the W. was done respectfully and you saw! Honestly we really need to separate the monster from its namesake, cause on a base level it’s an interesting crypted, but the horrendous missinterpretation and such is a big ooffie)

Batman is my challenge. He's mainly solid black. My favorite batcowl is the super lengthy bat ears(?¿‽) I just need to choose a different Batsuit but the Robert Patterson Batman made my brain go feral. Damn him and his colour scheme!! I've also been painting over my sketches because of Hamrib art. She renders so beautifully and it's so fun to do sometimes also a challenge. Edit to add: have you tried acrylic gouache? It's honestly my favorite medium.

I absolutely love HamRib art and this format is so relaxing and well suited for artists on RU-vid. I love that you fully acknowledge taking the initial idea to do your own and have her name on screen for a moment, but can you also maybe link her or atleast type her handle it in the description as well as the idea inspiration? Just since you named her as your direct inspo and (correct me if I'm wrong) she's the main artist on RU-vid doing this format or atleast the one doing it consistently that it's a recognizable series and is also a fairly smallish creator! And I hope I'm not coming across as rude or anything! I found your channel more recently and love it as well and you're actually the artist who made watching digital process videos fun for me (I used to dislike them in favor of traditional videos) because you're super funny and engaging and all the detailed thought you put into character concepts/stories is so so fascinating and awesome to hear.

Dude I feel the acrylic as gauche in my very soul. I used so much water in a school project with acrylic but it worked so well and I really like the out come of the vi and jinx painting at the end!

Glad to see you acknowledge the problem with your OC afterward. You gotta be careful with referencing cryptids cause a lot of them are just cultural appropriations of preexisting things. My personal favorite cryptid is Sam the Sandown Clown, it’s so weird, I’m not gonna give it away so you can discover it for yourselves, it’s very fun.

You could always search for an agent and try to book a meeting. You have a large audience, and a ton of talent. The creator of Final Space was a youtuber too. Of course, talent isn't the only factor, and if you're not the right fit, that's literally it, some execs only make sitcoms, or those found-footage horror films, etcetc. You just keep an eye out.

I think something that can both be a study and fun for you with Spider-Man. Would be to draw the Earth X veiny nerve system Spider-Man done by Alex Ross. It’s showing the nerve system through out the body and glows.

I know exactly how you feel with your making your practice into ocs because I did something exactly like that like 4-5 years ago with Gijinkas of this arg’s levels (the most random thing to make gijinka’s of but It was the only one that I could come up with interesting designs for) and now I’m starting to create a plot and it feels really fun so far, rough, extremely rough I’m making it up as I go but I’d love to have something fully fleshed out at some point. I need to work on the setting and world which I’m struggling with probably only because I’m bad with backgrounds but I’m working on it

have you considered looking into acyla gouache? its an acylic based paint that dries like a flat matt gouache. might be worth looking into!

I don’t know why, but you’re kind of right. You do kind of have a face that would fit in the arcane. Like only with a few tweaking you do look like the main two girls.
