Great reaction. If you like storytelling, check out Jason Isbell. Truly an author who happens to write songs. Paints a vivid picture. Try Elephant, Speed trap town, dress blues, the outfit, if we were vampires. All of them paint strong images with the lyrics.
This is just one of Tyler’ songs that has been used on the Yellowstone TV series! He’s married to my cousin who is also a singer/songwriter. Her song “ Intertwine” was also on the show. One of Tyler’s best songs has not been released on an album. It’s called “Her and the Banks”
It's awesome you're a fan. So many black men mined coal in Appalachia and it's something that is sometimes forgotten. This is a song for ALL Appalachians and Wheelwright, KY is a good example.
If you want someone to paint incredibly vivid pictures with words, I recommend Jason Isbell. Particularly, his album Southeastern. My favorites on that album are Cover Me Up, Elephant, Different Days, and Live Oak.
@@mooseiamreacts4755 have you heard any of his earlier work? Outfit and Lonely Love were written when he was with Drive By Truckers. If you want a song that will break your heart and make you sob- Dress Blues
Love the reaction. NONE better at painting a picture than Ray Wylie Hubbard and Guy Clark. You should check out Guy's "The Guitar" or "Randall Knife". For Hubbard, "Conversation with the Devil". These are old heads, but VERY skilled storytellers.
dude... love the reactions, i just feel like you get it! tyler is my fav but you should check out shakey graves "roll the bones" live version... you wont regret it
Childers is an incredible story teller. Also Sturgill Simpson, Ray Lamontagne, Colter Wall, Jason Isabell. They lead a movement of off label music these days. And just so happens they are insane song writers. Theres many more that don't get the notoriety.
