Hello painters! Today's project is an Alpine Miniature in the 1/35 scale for a mini display. This video is a full detailing of my process, mistakes, thoughts and how I approached this project overall. Hopefully it gives you some tips and tricks for your figures!

This is probably one of the most straight forward and easy to understand tutorials on RU-vid. I've been painting figures for years but you still managed to teach me a couple of new techniques. Keep up the good work, you are an inspiration to modeller everywhere.

I watched your video (nice thumb nail used) I really enjoyed your work upon the base and the final touches using the Oak leaves by Ammo/MiG. I’ll have to get that for a build I’m going to do. And you did an excellent job on the camouflage trousers. Well done, explained, colors used and executed. Thank you

Thanks dude, great video. How do you thin vallejo for airbrush? Love the tutorial but the music less so. Will watch more of videos ..very clear instruction

Hi! Thanks for the kind words; for Vallejo I use either Airbrush Thinner Vallejo or water; I mixed it previously in a cup and then when the consistency is good (milk like) I serve it into the airbrush cup and I spray. Hope it helps!

Thank you for the kind words! For the figure I mainly used a Winsor and Newton size 0 and artist opus series S size 1 :) hope it helps!

If that is supposed to be a Panzer Officer....Then that is a Black Leather U-boat Jacke that got Commondered back ! by the 1st SS Panzertruppen from the Italian warehouses in Aug/ Sept 1943 , who they and the 12th SS wore there after and Therefore must be a SS- Pz Offizieren..... So His Leather Waist belt should be Black and the interior of this belts are normally excessively stamped...SS- RZM and article Code etc....as they did not wear a Brown Leather waist belt as that is the Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe.
