Man you're doing a good job. Keep it up. What seat did you go with and how much? If you don't mind me asking. Your dozer is darn near identical to mine and I'm needing a seat but I'm not paying CAT pricing.
Made by vevor I think. Got it on eBay. Don't remember exact price but I believe it was around 300 ish maybe less. Bolt holes were different, just had to drill new holes.
Ordered from a guy on ebay with the reducer and hardener in a kit and followed the directions. Took 2 gallons. I don't remember the particular seller or brand, but it was somewhere around 100 per kit I think. I didn't paint the track pads or blade surface cause you know about how pointless that would be.
Looking good 👍 after the purchase price all the parts etc plus your time is it still working out financially are would it have been better to purchase a more expensive machine in better condition
If I had jobs lined up to do with it definitely would have been better to buy a machine ready to go. This should be cheaper if you don't count the 200 plus hrs of labor I have invested. No free lunch as they say! This was one of those purchases that I was like it would be cool to buy that and fix it up as something to piddle with. If you count my time as billable hours I could have been doing something else that payed then probably not worth it.
