I like N scale as well. It all depends on the scope. I almost chose N scale (Code 40 rail), and a different theme over this one initially. I planned on modeling the North end of the Squamish Sub yard and the Mamquam bridge in N scale. I had too much invested in HO scale. The problem with changing scales is losing all the investment on the scale you choose to abandon. I didn't want to do that again. At the end of the day I like all the scales depending on the subject and focus of the modeling. I stay away from etching as I don't like toxic chemicals anymore. In film we would just contract out etching. 😉 Cheers.

The "Coke" sign on Phillies was a little easier because of the "scripted style font. Straight lines and symmetrical curves can be tough.

Oh yeah . . . "Frisket film works awesome. Thanks for mentioning that. I am kind of lazy now and grab the nearest thing now - in this case tape. ;-) Every time I get up to run to the store I waste a whole day of modeling. 😉

The paint is extremely thin so the edge is not discernible unless you suffer from extreme O.C.D. . . . lol. There is not a model in the world where I can't find a flaw. In fact, I almost deliberately induce flaws now out of pure protest . . . lol. Cheers. 😉

I get what you say and respect it. It's a fact that western democracy and the prosperous infrastructure we all benefit from was built upon Capitalism and Protestant Christianity. I may be a Canadian, but I am not a socialist. I would love to live in America.
