Epoxy primer isn't porous like other types, so it's a good choice for long term projects that will be in primer for a long time. Also just adheres better overall.
Travis by adding a small amount of paint to your primer will prevent primer from being porous. I'm talking from my days of bodywork before modern 2 step primers where you mix in a hardener
Looks much better now. I was looking forward to seeing you put it back together, but it's a solid project for whoever gets it. And yeah, those wire splinters really suck!
Afternoon Travis, as soon as I seen you wire wheeling your floor, it brought back memories of me having wire from the wire wheel sticking in me....then you showed us your knuckle, your paint job come out pretty good, Travis, I have to ask, with your new baby, how do you get away with spending so much time in the garage???....be safe!!! God Bless!!!
looking pretty nice. but i am not a ford guy. but it is a nice body style. too bad you cant add on to your shop in the front and make room to work. you do great metal work , and your skills are 2nd to none. keep putting videos up and keep doing what your doing.
@@RACGARAGE Hey Travis, nice work...I have a 34 ford Tudor, it needs some of your metal magic, is it anything you would be interested in doing ? I'm up in Maine and I get down your way often...
Sure wire wheel floors and pain shit paint over rust , why didn’t you put Por 15 on it first to seal that rust , you guys crack me up go crazy fixing rusted panels and then you do that to your own car that your selling to someone else , I love you videos but what you were informed about primer then paint over it that is all shit paint you used ,I fix cars as a body man all my life and you have to put a encapsulated product over rust period
I would have paid 17K, until you painted 75% of the car with a brush, AND Rustoleum over bare metal! Deduct 1,500, and another 1,000 for the spray can primer. Every time you work on it deduct 1k from this point forward.
