In this tutorial I will show you how to paint a realistic nose in watercolour.
I have used three colours,
Naples Yellow
Alizarin Crimson
Burnt Umber
These three colours will give you a lovely range of skin tones for a realistic looking nose.
My paper is Arches 300gsm hot pressed. It has a lovely smooth surface to work on giving you beautiful transitions of tonal value and colour.
My brushes are
Number 6 Round Silver Black Velvet
Number 0 Princeton Select Petite Filbert,
I found this brush at Spotlight, which was an unexpected little find 🙂
I really hope you enjoy and learn from this video, please ask me questions if you would like to know more.
I encourage you to have a go at painting the nose, grab you colours, paper and brushes and paint along with me.

Thank you so much Marta, I just saw your comment today, sorry for such a late reply. I hope to post more soon, as I have found it difficult the last few months to make videos.

Hello Martin, thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate them. I am hoping to make more tutorials soon. Unfortunately the “ essentials” of life have slowed my ability to make more tutorials, I am working on solving this… hopefully soon 🙏
