Let's paint a full moon beach scene - this was inspired by one of my trips to Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. Belongil Beach is a beautiful place to be at any time of the day. But there is some special kind of magic in the sky when the full moon is setting above the hinterland just as the sun is about to rise from behind the easternmost point of the Australian mainland - Cape Byron.
In this watercolour scene, I am creating the twilight sky and the reflections of it on the wet sand at the beach.
