I have just been experimenting with similar stuff. I did the single line cup version but put weights halfway up the pendulum. It makes a kind of chaos pendulum which gives you more random results rather than those repeating spiral grid patterns. Using different weights at different height makes all sorts of crazy chaos.

I’m pretty sure this is their job now... They seem to have a ton of Patreon supporters, they have sponsors, and their content is pretty ideal for RU-vid - family-family, wide appeal/audience... Omg I loved this video so much and I can’t wait to try this for myself. The results are absolutely amazing!! And I loved the sponsor of this video! I’m excited to give them a try. I find it amazing that I can take a picture of my painting before it dries and have it printed onto any size canvas. I often find myself loving my paintings a lot more before they dry. This was such fun! :D Just as a note - the cracking happens sometimes because the ratio of paint/flow medium is off. If there is too much flow stuff I've found that the cracking happens. Also if you want the pretty colors to come back, if you varnish them they vibrancy returns. I don't know what would happen if you did resin on it, but I've heard that clear resin works well too!
