I'm always impressed how fast pro painters are and still do a nice job without missing some parts. I paint a lot for non professionell painter, but not enough to get really good at it. Even masking feels like an art sometimes. I highly respect ppl how master this job
Amazing job as always Gabe you make it look so easy but I know from experience that it isn't, it's great to see another video from you Sir and I love what you do👏🙏👍John UK
“Hotter does not equal faster” is great advise. Hot booth means paint dries too fast as it hits the panel and causes sand piling from base coat overspray and it can get nasty! Also… Christ is Lord😎
love ur videos :P got a friendly tip for u to try on white cars. i use safety glasses with yellow glass on them. it help because u can better see contrasts better or something with yellow glass. doesn't get as much snow-blind either hehe :D
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS No problem 👍 Might get some stares from fellow coworkers, but i already got that. I bought some red devil horns and stuck them on my sata(n) vision 5000 🤣
I’ve been spraying my mid coats with the lights turned off and a sun gun in hand and watch the pearl lay down. I don’t like to spray more than I need to so it helps, plus it’s pretty cool watching the mid coat lay down.
Love your vids bud! I'm a month in spraying ppg from over 10 years of Axalta. Usually the wetbed is allowed to dry before base with ppg I see. I noticed with this one, you sprayed over it wet like I used to do with Axalta. Is that because it's normal on tri-stage whites? I haven't done any of those yet with ppg lol.
It is another step towards a cleaner paintjob! Of you are not clean and the wnvirent is not clean is like waxing a car that is dirty it won't do anything but if the car is clean then it will help
What solution are you using with the micro fiber cloths and how often do you change them out? Also do you take them home and wash or recycle them to the detail shop? Thanks for all the info!!
Right mate I have a ford focus mk3 titanium x Gabriel iam fitted a new ford focus bumper on the front and its comes primed from ford and my bonnet is pealing clear coat mate 320 grit somebody said will I have to do a wet bed or the UK a blend to get the match lunar sky
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS thanks gabriel mate so just blend the base coat paint to match the car so when I get the new bumper primed from ford wipe it down and spray a blend and then base coat paint and clear coat paint
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS thanks... question.. I have a new bed side I want to install... is there a ecoat product on can spray on the back side for additional paint protection. Before weld the panel back on.
