Oh how awsome Sandy. I love this. And what a great way to use up some of the not so favorite glitter and regular gel pens. I need to see if our wal-mart has some vegie-glycerin. Can't wait to try this technique. Thank you Sandy for this tutorial and ALL that you do for us!!!

Never heard of the method, I will try it. I always thought glycerine was sweet, perhaps I was thinking of the cake glycerine. Stick your finger in it and taste it. My aunt used to use it in cake icing and as a child I would always dip and taste. I am in New Zealand so it may be different. It has a great effect with the gel pens and your page looks lovely, thank you.

Meryle, just any vegetable glycerin will work. The one I have is for cake decoration and sweet but actually find out at your Pharmacy or where they sell soap making supplies and see if they have a vegetable glycerin.

How do you soft pastel in those very small spaces???????

If the spaces are too small, I don't use soft pastels. I will us another medium or pencils. I try to use soft Pastels as much as possible but then I am always detailing the picture later too.
