Oh my, you made everything so easy. Greatest explanations and fantastic results. My two cats are both white with sparse ginger spots. If you don’t know them well they can be easily confused. One cat has now passed away, but the other is younger and so action packed playful. I’m thinking a burnt sienna under painting with turquoise palette knife over bc turquoise will contrast well w orange spots and sienna will match sparse spots. Stretch and Slinky get ready to be painted! I’ll share my finished paintings. Btw- you have THEE BEST selections of background music I’ve ever heard on any RU-vid tutorial. Rizzo is so adorable and such a perfect model!! I can see why he keeps you laughing...so graceful :) My tuxedo kitty Bandit has the same perfect little circle of black under his chin (we call it his goatee).

I really like your teaching style. I would love if you helped me with doing the face on a stripped cat. That's what I'm scared of, they have so many tiny thin lines, different sizes and angles.

A month ago I had to put my sweet 1 year old kitty to sleep, and now I would love to paint him. He looked like a little red tiger so he had many stripes all over his body. Do you have any tips on painting those realistically?
Work dark tones to light. Dark stripes to lighter. You will likely have to add more coats to the light areas, but adding the darker areas usually helps to see where to place color next.
Now I always tape it down before I paint on it. And that seems to prevent any and all warping for me. I also let it dry completely before taking the tape off. Great question!
@@laurenelizabethanimalart3215 Hey! You have a cat that sort of looks like a tortoise shell. It has a white coat underneath/tummy but it is greyish, brownish with black markings on the back? Do you know what breed he is? My cat looks similar and I just don't really know what breed he is. Thanks.
