A pair of Blue-ringed Dancers ovipositing. Female is laying eggs. Male uses its abdomen to clasp on to the neck of the female, presumably for protection. Another damselfly, a male Familiar Bluet appears to be set on interfering with their egg laying as it periodically grabs the wings of both the female and male Blue-ringed Dancer.
