JBL recently added a three band EQ through a firmware update. It makes a great difference! Amazed this speaker is still $400 after all other speakers have jumped in price.
Great set up. Thanks for the video. I also have the jbl110 the only issue is lake of bass at the party. Otherwise is a great speaker with lots of connectivity to different stuff.
Shout Out to DJ Shane! I purchased the PB110 about a year ago after watching some of his videos on the PartyBox series. I had never even heard of it before. He has quite a collection of PA speakers from small to High School Dance speakers! Check out his videos: www.youtube.com/@shaneberckman/videos
Cable connection: From Out of PB110 1/8" to dual XLR male into Sub://www.amazon.com/Y-Splitter-Unbalanced-Adapter-Interconnect-Breakout/dp/B083R5D6HW/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3PFD6BW4ZA1W1&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.IJNuP-JABb612wPwXmKlh0IJhyRGp1OTuOEMSw9mdcSYebb8ojHxMWVzo3sniM_o2SWBGPOY2IeETPkyV1T9kvTr9ll5JdQYUBkjSdS7XmPn_73HRO1q0Lk35QyvGf4zRgMl56qU67jyC90__GYTeK4bnWT2u-iuK8fH6oKZoIHr8zRyckDt_t17XfETnXXfFVQ9rEnAOq3CasZ8a2K7wsGPQzg8GsBKZ4VsRmXXcuIigPQTbufsupU5WFVu9gzxYxisCv_0x8wTxUfwj9Cbc-kB-PRH9_1CnzUTIfP1gQs.qQS8PDl8SJTaWlL7xiCbPfbE2TzwAWnVT6RWOWbfBpg&dib_tag=se&keywords=1%2F8%2Bto%2Bdual%2Bxlr%2Bmale&qid=1711824767&sprefix=1%2F8%2Bto%2Bdual%2Bxlr%2Caps%2C248&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1
Hey great vid, I love that you hook the sub up to the power station. I just got an old van I've been converting and want to do the same thing. Do you know an estimate of what the max runtime of the subwoofer running off your power bank would be? I'm likely getting a similar setup and just curious, thanks!
@@WWeiss-nv5vz Yes so my setup would be similar to yours, thinking of either the Dayton sub1000 at 100 watt powered or the KRK S10 with 160 watt powered. Trying to keep the wattage low since my power station will likely have a 716Wh capacity unless I decide to spend more on the 2048Wh one. Mainly just wondering how your setup holds up time-wise before needing a recharge. Thanks for the response!
@@RyMac I've never done a max hour test. Keep in mind the louder you play and heavy bass content will shorten run time. Figure Dayton 6 hours/KRK 4 hours. Just estimates you might get longer.
@@WWeiss-nv5vz could you try for if u can because I’m thinking about buying one and I have two Sony srs xb43’s and I would want to connect them together using the out port and using the in port for dj decks
I lent my PB110 to a friend so can't try it right now. If you plug a phone into the 1/8" in and run a sub from the out like I have done, I'm almost sure it will work!@@darraght9678
I got a Dimondboxx L3 and a m3. The L3 is really nice with some nice punch. I have a sub 8.2 ordered and waiting on it. So hopefully I will get it soon. LOL Been waiting a while so hopefully it will be worth the wait.
How does the L3 compare with the PB310 or the Mackie Thump Go's? Very little content on the 8.2 on the web. It should be excellent! At 39Lbs it is right there with the Bose Sub1, would love to hear a comparison.
@@WWeiss-nv5vz I am very excited about thesub 8.2. The L3 is got the volume of the mackie thump go with nice bass. I have a video up with the mackie thump go's playing with the Dimondboxx L3 and M3.
@@WWeiss-nv5vz Thank you. I am wanting to keep it in my living room mostly. And occasionally move it out to the patio or other family members houses for dance parties of maybe 50ish people. I keep going back and forth if the setup will be big enough. I'm considering if I should go up to the sb-2000 which is still a 12in driver but 200more watts of output for $150 more. It will be here tomorrow so I will have to test it out.
Listening to this video I am shocked the bass sounds so weak compared to in person. I am using my iPhone13 microphone and it doesn't do bass justice. The difference with the dedicated subwoofer is really night and day!
Yes, Aux out of PB110 1/8" into dual XLR into sub. www.amazon.com/tisino-3-5mm-Stereo-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B07K58L9MW/ref=sr_1_7?crid=3L87EGMS5MP66&keywords=1%2F8%2Binto%2Bdual%2Bxlr&qid=1699052787&sprefix=1%2F8%2Binot%2Bdual%2Bxlr%2Caps%2C139&sr=8-7&th=1

I agree! Black Sabbath Paranoid was the first record I ever bought in the fifth grade! Been a Hard Rocker ever since:) Montrose Bad Motor Scooter is also an experience at 100dB+ :) Rock On
I run to party box 710s in TWS in my mobile home it’s pretty kick ass lol especially when I put on the Metallica Justice for all album and the double bases are kicking in dyers Eve , I bought my JBL party box 710 for $689 just under two weeks ago I went to the store again a couple of days ago now they are back up to $819 lol. I saved $288 when you include 8% sales tax
I got a question if I have two of my 710s paired together in TWS can I run an auxiliary cable (not sure if I do this from auxiliary or the daisychain plug-in ports ?) from each of the 710s into a 310 so I can run 4 speakers total ?I would want to run the 310s and have them on the opposite side of the room kind of like behind me? would that also take some of the volume away from the 710 to run to 310 or I’m guessing because all the speakers have their own power and it just sends the signal to the 310 and it should not affect the 710 at all? Or will this cause a delay in sound? I wish JBL made it like they did their smaller boom boxes and stuff where you can pair more than two speakers together in TWS so I was wondering once I got both of the 710 in TWS if I could simply run a wire out of each of the 710s into one 310 having a total of four speakers? Or will this not work? I can only see where you Bluetooth your phone to one speaker and everything else has to be daisychained after that which I did not want to do I was just wondering with the 710s already in stereo simply running a wire out of each of them with the 310 mimic The larger speaker it is hooked in to , and if I use the volume control to control the 710 would that make the 310s go up or what I have to manually cut them up on volume or would running any of this out of the larger 710 into the 310 damage at 310? I know it might sound confusing I am confused myself trying to figure out how to word this if this makes any sense because I don’t really understand none of this stuff but I like things loud lol BTW great presentation that subwoofer you have the 110 plugged into looks like it sounds awesome🤘. Without actually being there I can’t really tell of course lol I have tried to look this up on Google and other RU-vid videos but they all don’t address my particular question.
