I agree with you about Bridgerton. Watching that second part felt more like a chore than a pleasure. More, “I already started it… I guess I should finish it…” rather than, “Yay! The last few episodes. I can’t wait to see how it ends!” Wamp wamp. Plus I found myself audibly singing and rolling my eyes over some of the drama in the past few episodes. It wasn’t “bad” but I definitely enjoyed the first two seasons more.
I am glad to hear that more people felt this way. It’s kind of a shame because everyone was really looking forward to Pen and Colin’s story. Perhaps we set the expectations too high. That aside the season suffered from some obvious flaws.

Thank you dear! Yes disjointed and all over the place is what it felt like to me too and indeed just not enough Pen and Colin. I realized that we don’t really get to know much about Colin so that makes him hard to relate to. Both of the previous leading men were given a solid history so we could understand their choices. Not this time.
I go for weekends to the Black Sea and in September (in the past 10 years) went to Mediterranean sea to prolong my summer for 1 week, exactly this type of vacation beach-hotel-beach.I love it every time!
Miss the Pat Pairing videos! Love the look! VR Nectar is fire! I agree, the Bridgteron episodes divided in part 1 and 2 didn’t work for me either even though they had a recap. My favorite Bridgteron story was Queen Charlotte because it had to do with real love versus lust.
Split is very beautiful. I quite often go to Croatia for a quick vacation, since it is our neighboring country. Ahhh, I need a vacation so badly right now 🤣
I’m glad you had a relaxing trip! I was disappointed in this Bridgerton season. I think it really shows that there is a new show runner this season. It is such a shame because Penelope is my favorite. (I didn’t like the 2 part release either) BAH. I love the look you made and VR Nectar layered over the greeny gold was beautiful! Lovely look! I was also in Croatia for the first time that past week haha! Similarly, I am used to sandy beaches but it was nevertheless beautiful in Rovinj. I did get the water shoes though, my feet are too spoiled to walk on pebbles 😁

Ohhh thank you for the tip! I will keep it in mind. I also hate the idea of buying extra shades of foundation for the few weeks a year that I am more tan. I was so lucky my friend had this shade but it will probably take me years to pan it 😂.

Hmm I also did not like the splitting of the bridgerton season... but i`m also not sure if I like the direction they move towards. I did read the books just because I cannot watch a show without reading the original, otherwise it is not my genre. But I understand also it is hard to transfer as each book is kind of the same with very similar patterns that could be too boring for TV.. however the previous seasons had just enough change, I want to keep the heart of the characters and love stories somehow...
It would 100% have been my genre like 20 years ago but now I have far too many other books to read. Perhaps if I am in need of a light hearted distraction I will read them. It just also felt a but all over the place and not enough time was given to Pen and Colin. We don’t really get to know Colin much…
Yes it is very lighthearted, if you can’t concentrate on anything else you can still read this 😂 there was little time and also not the same level of excitement I feel.. in the books he is the first to find out who she is and it all felt more like the typical storyline with some conflicts resulting into their love story
