Wow….. what a gem you are! You made me flash back …….getting ready to out ,with my girlfriends! We shared our looks …..sharing our closest of treasures 😊
1. Bag is great 2. Love your magnolia bloom. Especially the color! I did it in red. But the carrot 🥕 3. I always love for my projects to be ‘right’ --but I would ‘let it be’ as a previous viewer said. Always nice to see your videos. What happens when you go back to work--oh nooooo
Thank you very much! I'm also loving the pairing of yarn and pattern. My heart is singing! Ok, clovers blowing in the wind. Can I just let it be? We'll see?!?! Yes, the return to work in the making. Working. Knitting. Podcasting. (Not in that order!!!) All will happen in tandem. It may just mean that my fashion shows may be a little more rustic.😊
Jennifer....your Wild Posy sweater is lovely as it is. The "clovers" as you called them are blowing in the wind....I would truly "let it be" (Beatles song). Of course, if it truly bothers you, ribbit to fix but in my 20+ years of knitting I find some designs not found in the pattern are design elements. As always your podcast is inspiring and your opinions are so appreciated. Thank you. 🧶
What a delightful podcast. I just found you and catching up with your podcast. You are an amazing talented knitter and have the confidence to make your own designs by modifying the pattern. Your knits are all stunning and I truly love watching you pose and style them, well done! I’ve yet to try the unspun, it is not inexpensive and concerned it will not work well for me. The magnolia bloom is exquisite. I’ve had the yarn for this for at least 3 years, I get distracted by the new patterns. Looking forward to catching up with all your podcasts.
Well, hello there! I'm so happy we found one another! That's an interesting take about unspun. I've heard this from quite a bit of other knitters- not working for them. I'm inspired to share about my experiences with unspun, because I feel there may be one for you. You just have to find the right one.
Great roundup again Jennifer! I personally love the cowl because it reminds me of an octopus with lilac tentacles and I think it's hilarious - though totally understandable if that's not what you're going for. 😂
Ha! Yes to the octopus! That makes the cowl even cuter in my opinion. But for me at this point, not totally wearable. Making some adjustments with my vision and then I think it will be awesome!
Wow, I love your sweaters!🤩 I would definitely not frog that down. It looks like it’s own pattern since it’s consistent. But, if it bothers you, maybe you could embroider over it? In the same color, possibly? I think it’s beautiful as is. Have a fabulous week!
Love your podcast. I would embroider some flowers on your posie sweater with the same yarn you knit it with. Hope to see you at Knitcity Toronto in May.
Lovely idea, but I ran out of the purple yarn. This was intended to stash bust and that it has! The ruffle is getting pulled out today and reknit. But then, yes the purple will be intended to live at the top.
You're too kind! Thank you. I always consider the happiness I feel when wearing my me-made makes. I know that most non-knitters would never notice the little boos boos, but I fix mistakes in my knitting for me. I do enjoy the "clovers blowing in the wind" vision with my mistake in the lacework and am considering wear her loud and proud!
Could you pick up stitches above and below that motif section, take out the knitting, reknit from the top needle and kitchener to the bottom needle? Kinda like an afterthought toe from a sock tube.
