great video my friend, I congratulate you, the oil that falls when you take out the transmission cannon is refilled or remains like that, and in case of refilling, how is it filled, thanks
Please I would like your help. There is the gear lever of my mitsubishi pajero manual gearbox which shakes a lot on takeoff. It also shakes when I slow down to stop for example. Often also It goes out while I am driving normally 80km/h. The mechanic checked the oil in the gearbox, it was missing, we added oil but the problem persists. He also checked the fuel injector pump but still the problem. Finally he told me that I have to change the clutch disc. Need your opinions please
I have a shake when the Pajero is in gear but the brake is pressed. Please tell me this is just the mount or something. Doesn't shake when in neutral or park
Hi mate did you replace the gearstick plastic bush when you put it back in? My shifter has a heap of slop when in gear, thinking the bush might be worn. Thoughts?
is it okay if I will only resurface the pressure plate instead of buying new one? And do I need to resurface the flywheel everytime that I will put new clutch components?
If your pressure plate is OEM, I recommend you to just buy a new pressure plate unless your current pressure plate is high performance one which is costly to replace, then just resurface it. but i did come across some forum that mentioning, if you resurface or remove some material like 0.2mm on the surface of your pressure plate, then you also need to remove 0.2mm at the bolt/contact surface with the flywheel, if not, you will lose some clamping force with the clutch when you install it. This is what I read on that forum, but i never done that. you should ask other people opinion or your mechanic or your local machine shop about it. You don't need to resurface your flywheel everytime you change your clutch. You only need to resurface your flywheel if the runout is out of specification ( surface not flat ), if im not mistaken for this car the runout for the flywheel is 0.3mm. so you need to resurface the flywheel if the runout is more than 0.3mm. you can get the reading using dial gauge. or just bring it to the machine shop to check it for you.
I'm not 100% sure if this is correct, but based on my knowledge, it seems like a ground wire, since this transmission have some electrical wiring to it.
