Josh wants alot of things, and a weapon 4wd that going to turn heads and make noise is on top of his list. a Vehicle that will tackle the Western Australian out back.. but he doesn't want a Nissan or Toyota!
In steps this Mitsubishi Pajero , petrol 6G74 sohc and with his heart set on tripping the power , The only way forward it doing a turbo charger

it is nuts how mitsubishi restricted the airflow of these, but the pajero ignition system seems more advanced, very confusing. thank you 🙏, you have been flowing us for a while and y out r support means a lot

What about the coolant bleed lines in the lower intake? You're going to end up not being able to get the air out of the cooling system?

great question, in the newer 6G those bleed lines have been removed, there is a bleed screw on the very top of the engine… which is factory, which we are keeping but if we do have any problems we will report it

@@GREASEGARAGE They're still there but in a different place and hidden. The earlier DOHC had them coming from the front of the heads, the SOHC through the lower intake manifold at the front, which you changed.

Is it possible to add a turbo to a Pajero 6G74 N/A DOHC engine? I've got people saying that it will blow my engine or so, they say it works with the SOHC engine and not the DOHC engine. Please help.

of course you can, it’s all in the tune.. even with high compression you can run a turbo safely, might just need to run better fuel if you want a higher amount of boost, DOHC also give you more tune ability over the valve lift and duration so in most ways it’s better

6G74 goes hard I used to have a ML GLXR with one sounded hectic but got rid of it and got a turbo Barra instead, miss the sound of the 6G tho

@@fordbarra I've got 3 Magnas. One of the best cars ever made in my opinion. Stock for stock beats the SV6, some SS commos, Honda Accords, Ford Falcons. Love these machines.

me too building the exhaust manifold at the moment, i got some other episodes coming out first on ,Bov for a diesel and dyno test a patrol, so part two will be out soon

hello 👋 Jesse, This Engine is a 6G74 3.5litre SOHC , thou there is some things i’m doing to this you could do with other engine that are in the pajero , like the intercooler and piping i do in part 4 😀 etc, hope that helps
