Dont get so obsessed with the idea that Pak cannot fight India. After all vietnam could not fight US, & Ukraine could not fight Russia, Taliban could not fight US !!!! But see what outcome happened. Indian defence preparedness has suffered with decades of deliberate accumulated neglect. The IAF is in dire straits, 2 Rafale sqdns not withstanding. In an all out war where India will hv to fight at the same time in ALL sectors ALL along our land & sea borders, the Airforce will be hard put to support land & sea forces apart from limited capability at strategic air strikes. It was never there to fight a country 7 times bigger. It is there to defend Pakistan. Secondly, once both sides are nuclear capable, neither side can beat the other. On a smaller scale subatomics are used once a particular brigade is overwhelmed. The subatomics wipes out the other side and it becomes a stalemate. Due to the difference in resources, it is clear that Pakistan will be the first to employ nuclear weapons; the thresholds requiring nuclear deterrence are clearly laid out on both sides which the other side doesn't know about. Once on stalemate there is no reason to continue the war. Both countries will finish off each other's military And major weapons facilities. There will not be a need to resort to Hiroshima style high yield weapons. On a positive note, both Pakistan and India have always had gentlemanly wars compared to the US where neither country destroyed the other's infrastructure such as electricity generation, refineries or water reservoirs.
