15-20% Alpaca wool for the shirts seems very minimal. The hoodie is at 65%, but only costs $20 less than the 100% Alpaca "Appalachian Gear Company" hoodie. Their availability is just grossly lacking.
I see where you are coming from. The other material is Tencel (which I am a big fan of) which does very well in the summer months. I have a few AGC garments and they are great as well. Their shirt is also a Tencel / alpaca mix too. Love the all natural materials being used.
Would love to see you do a comparison between AGC and Paka, whether the 8020 long sleeve with this shirt or their alpaca hoodies (not the 8020 sun; assume Paka makes something similar).
Liked your review and went to purchase the shirt but happened to notice that Alpaca wool was the last material meaning the least. $75 is reasonable for 50%+ Alpaca don’t you think or am I off base here?
@@not_sure...oh ya! I almost assumed that but was not sure. From my experience with this shirt and some other alpaca clothing, it is at least as warm. Certainly warmer than merino wool.
