I am new to Paka clothing and have purchased a couple of sweaters and a ton of socks from them. Very happy with the quality of their products and very happy with helping the women in Peru. If you travel, you need these socks! They are so soft and I’ve worn the same pair for over a week-no smell! I’d love to see a video comparing the Patagonia Better Sweater to the new Paka Breathe Zip Hoodie.

I would like to try the breathe zip hoodie. I have a couple pairs of Paka socks too. I do like them a lot, but they have shrunk a bit after washing and drying them several times. Have you noticed that too?

@@meandmyjackets I really love the Breathe Hoodie and I think it will replace my Patagonia Better Sweaters (I have 3 of those). The Paka hoodie is much warmer but lighter weight. According to their website, alpaca fur is 3x warmer than merino wool. The socks haven’t shrunk, but maybe that is because I always air-dry mine? I’ve only had them a couple of weeks and have washed maybe 2x so far, so no shrinking yet.

Hey Chris, found your channel as I was researching jackets for travel from the West Coast to the East Coast in the Fall and Winter. I own this Paka hoodie and really enjoy it The points you make, antibacterial, super comfortable as both a base layer or a mid layer, quality of manufacturing etc, are all spot on. Love mine and I wear it frequently. You should check out the Paka structured hoodie as well. Super comfortable as a mid layer in the Fall Cheers

I have literally never ever seen anyone put on a hoodie like that. Rolling it first and then putting your head in. I feel like I've been doing it wrong all my life 😂😂😂

I found the garment to be ridiculously baggy. I’m Medium in everything, 5,9” 164ish and this sorta fit like a slightly oversized large. The neck hole, regardless of smlxl.., is quite roomy to say the least. Love the material, and the color. Just feel the hoody could be designed and fitted to typical sizes. Maybe it’s the manufacturing / making of the product without strict standards ..idk. Gonna swap for a small and see how it goes. But that neck hole. ..? Ehh.

Don’t like fibers like this where the % is under 50% and rest is old synthetic nylon, etc. Got burned in some bamboo underwear and when I got them they were like only 30% bamboo. I returned them. I’ll pass.

Great video as always. Must say that the fit doesn't seem very good. I think these look better on skinny people (no offense!). Also, is it a paid promotion? Just to know. Keep it up!

Not a paid promotion, I bought this for 139.00. I just really like what this company is doing. Its a really nice casual piece. The fit and feel is very casual, but it feels great.
