Keeping patiortism aside, if JF17 has maintenence problem because of RD33 engines so much then why is it getting so many export orders?... It can be an issue but not that much.
The best thing about Pakistan building JF-17 and J-10 is not only it improve Pakistani aerospace industries, it also lowers the cost making mass production and replacing any crashed plane much easier. Losses are gonna happen in training and war and being able to replace easily is a huge plus

This video is good and mostly unbiased, which is a good surprise in current situation. I personally do not want Pakistan to buy J 10C. Instead we should focus on JF 17 Block 3. However, we badly need a Delta Wing Aircraft, which in my opinion Saab Gripen block 3/4. I think Sweden has a neutral policy as compared to the rest of the world towards Pakistan. We must have a single squadron of twin engine aircraft and that would be Mig 35.

Whatever is uttered .....one fact is clear India has failed in Make in India program as Teja project is stalled... whereas JF 17 started much later has reached block 3 manufacturing and overhauling earlier blocks with dedicated MLU programs in place... reliance on USA or any other wesern nations have been minimized.....playing smartly within budget as per pocket ...and building 4 JF 17s for every Rafale cost wise.....with low cost fast track maintenance....but French are famous for ripping off customers with costly maintenance.....so instead of fanfare and pompousness.....PAF is frugal yet realistic at the same time to the threat from IAF and ready to nuetralize the same........
I know people gonna comparing Rafale to J10C, well, they are both 4.5 gen jet, but I think Rafale is more advance. However, in modern air battle, its all about radar and missiles, for example couple years ago, Pakistan shoot down Indian Su 30-mki by use much less advance JF-17, because they use much more advance missile weapons. Again, Jet is not only a carrier, who win the air battle is depend on weapons and entire systems.

Due to use of Russian engine in J-10, it is understandable that authorization from Russia shall also be needed. The same thing has been cleared for JF-17.
Pakistan already rejected J10, 10 yrs back and instead invested in JF17 to increase no of planes to manage maintenance issues as well as to counter any 4.5 gen airctaft by increase numbers. "Quantity itself has a quality of its own. Moreover, there is nothing J10C would offer that JF17 couldn't.

J10 use same engine of su 30 mki but su 30 has 2 engines so it produces more electricity to radar but j10 has single engine it's electricity is not enough to use fully capable radar
