Misleading video. Let me explain. Theres a difference between ADs (Air defence) and Rocket launchers. Fatah 2 is a rocket launcher, its not a precision guided missile (theres a difference between a missile and a rocket). MRLS are not made for precision strike missions like missile systems. MLRS usually uses there number advantage to overwhelm enemy ADs and do a saturated attack andtake out enemy targets. They are not costly and are a easy and cost effective solution, BUT the biggest disadvantage of Fatah-2 is that its doesn't have its number advantage. We have seen that a fatah-2 launcher only carriers around 2 rockets, that means ut cannot do saturation attack like normal MLRS, hence to use the number advantage, pak have to use many Fatah-2 at the same time, make it a easy target for enemy and also increasing the cost. At the end it fails to be an MLRS, but its the best Pakistan can do now. They need a solution for indias ADs, and since pak cannot afford expensive weapons, they have to revert back to whatever they can find. Also another factor is, S-400 doesn't even have to intercept it. As i said, rockets are not missiles, they do not have manuavering capabilities, hence making it an easy target for ADs (thats why the number advantage is used in MLRS). Akash, Akash Akash-NG, Barak-8, SR-SAM, SPYDER etc are more than enough for Fatah-2. S-400 doesn't even need to fire a shot.
