So people of northern Pakistan Hunza eat paneer, yet when I ask Pakistanis from Lahore or Karachi about Paneer they have no idea what it is. Clearly this shows that people of Hunza, Chitral etc... Have ancient links with North Indians and Sanskrit/rig veda cultures.
The lady is really socially educated and have a great cooking sense. So good to see woman coming of her own that too from ever deprived yet beautiful region of Hunza in a backward, bankrupt yet terror state like Pakistan run by thugs.
I'm from Karachi Pakistan I went to hunza last year and I can say this for sure that her food was one of the best in hunza and there a guy who stall is right next to hers has one of the best dumplings
Yes it's because our areas in particular hunza and gilgit have highest literary rate which is 95% in whole of Pakistan, we have one of the lowest crime rates, we have more women into education system, in businesses and other fields in Pakistan. In hunza and gilgit children get yearly scholarships for studying abroad, mainly because the kids are seriously into education along with their parents who regard it as high. You will find atleast one women in every family who is atleast educated to bachelor or masters level. We are so proud of our culture and education and above all we don't leave our morals and ethics. Peace ✌️
Excellent video as always Pakistan is truly a beautiful country especially in the Humza region, the humzas are known for their longevity because of their apricots
I love organic, spicy, and that superwoman. Her street food looks very delicious. 她的餡餅看起來好好吃,她的企業家精神令人尊敬! You guys did a really great job!謝謝分享, thanks for sharing!👍😄👏
@@LukeMartin You are very welcome, and thank you for give me a red heart again. 👍🥰💖 However, it seems that you didn't find out my comment on your last video. I wrote Mandarin to try to help you retain the audience in Taiwan!

Being living here in pakistan, there is unmatched beauty , places like fairy meadows, kumrat valley , bashoo valley, are heavenly, and the list just goes on forever
That's exactly what they say about Northern Pakistan. You get to the north by flight (either Gilgit or Skardu) then hire a local driver to take you around.
People go by car in Pakistan it is worth it.You will enjoy much much more if you go by car. You will be pleased after seeing the beautiful stunning valleys which come on the way. Highly recommended
You can go by car, bus or fly. The roads are very windy but scenic all the way. It does take 10+ hours on the road though. At time the roads are bumpy as well so find a comfortable ride. All the best. Pakistan is waiting
Skardu is also beautiful. I was there a month ago. Have some good videos of there. Basho Valley, Khaplu Valley, Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake , Sarfaranga Desert, Katpana Cold Desert , Shigar Fort & old mosque, Deosai and more
Wow that's so cool! When we flew with PIA, we barely flew over top of the mountains, I can only imagine getting to see them at such a higher perspective. Very cool, thanks for sharing!
@@LukeMartin Yeah! Absolutely👌 Every country has it's own uniqueness about food and their culture, that's why every Sunday night shouldn't miss your episodes. Thanks and Keep Safe Always😇
@@muhammadanassiddiqui8228 Let's not start drama again. You thick skinned guys never feel sorry, it's a proven fact. Else a social awareness would have raised after 1970 Bangladesh genocide itself or ever after your involvement global terrorism from sheltering Bin Laden to 26/11 list goes on . It needed India to show you where you actually belong. Decades past mindset remained. Stop the bluff
Great work Luke! Just one small thing I have noticed a lot of RU-vidrs in Pakistan get wrong. We Pakistanis don't refer to our bread/pita as Chapati ( that's an Indian bread). We call it "Roti" and the main difference is that our bread is generally thicker and bigger in comparison, hence the different name. Cheers!
Roti is regular bread. Paratha is thick and oily, made for breakfast. Naan is the thickest bread. Chapati is thin and light. There's nothing Indian vs Pakistani about this. I grew up in Pakistan with all these different types of breads. Have you even lived in Pakistan?
You and your wife there are living the life man the sites that you people go to especially there that is so gorgeous the mountains and everything is breathtaking I'll tell you this the only time I had to travel is when I was in the Navy and I said that when I had my injury that stopped all my traveling man I'm a handicap on a wheelchair and what I see you guys do I'm living through you and I'm doing things through you and I thank you very much for your videos God loves you all God bless your family and God bless all of you who are struggling and homeless because of covid-19
I think you just met Pakistan's Julia Child...she's a force! Thanks for another thoughtfully edited/filmed post! 😀 It must just be breathtaking to see this area in person!
The lady who is the owner of the restaurant is an inspiration to so many woman who want to stand on their own feet I admire her guts that is women empowerment Very well spoken in English 🙏🙏
Great video! I enjoyed her story. The bread she made looks similar to a bread mentioned in a comic book I'm reading called "A brides story" by Kaoru Mori. HIGHLY recommend checking it out. It's a historical fiction set during the 18th century throughout the silk road regions. Trying to remember what they called that bread in the comic. But it had braided edges like hers.
Non/Nan. They are (probably pre turkic) Central Asian in origin and this region is near central Asia. Nan/Non on average get more elaborate the further North-West you go.
You know what, the silk route may be connected to northern Pakistan since China is right in the North of Pakistan and throughout history they were friends.
Lot of respect and hats off to Lal Shehzadi from India. She needs to be made famous for her spirit, friendliness and the amazing food that she prepares. She is an inspiration for all the women across the borders. Thank you Luke and Sabrina and also thanks to Manaky.

Another great video Luke and Sabrina, I love “SUPERWOMAN” she is indeed super, beautiful and cute, but most of all a very brave woman, it is so nice to see this beautiful “pioneer women” that are starting new chapters in their communities. I also liked historical portion of the video and you are doing it so well, food looks so delicious and to eat it in that beautiful environment is breathtaking. Love you both❤️

I respect nothing more than women who fight for their right to do what they want. I dont think many people realize how difficult this was for her especially way back in the day. I cant imagine the sleepless, stressful, tear filled nights she had to fight through. Pure dedication and self confidence. I appreciate you letting her tell her story to your audience.not everybody is as strong willed as her unfortunately. God bless this woman.
Really cool to see that hunza food pavilion expanded since mark was there :) also did that dude not only lean really far out from that balcony but also stand right on the frickin edge of the 300 meter drop? Man ain't afraid of heights...
Oh yeah, our guide was great but he risked his life a few times to get pictures of us. I couldn't even look when he was standing at the "execution point" hahahaha
lol, u got me laughing when u said fresh walnuts :D, Walnuts it's a dried nuts, cannot be fresh by definition :P, love all your videos Luke & Sabrina,, Thank you for making a smile on my face :)
@@sjmir8932 no, call it fresh walnut is totally wrong and have absolutely no meaning, indeed there's a huge difference between recently harvested and old season walnuts, and in both cases we do not and should not call it fresh walnut. Because Walnuts, like other tree nuts, must be processed and stored properly. Poor storage makes walnuts susceptible to insect and fungal mold infestations this is the most important part of harvesting the nuts, so it has nothing to do with the freshness of vegetables or meats, don't try to correct something that u don't know please, u'r misleading people by your poor knowledge.
I was born in 🇵🇰 n we left 🇵🇰 when I was 6 we moved to itlay in 94 then Uk 2010 n I never visit 🇵🇰 since I left. After watching this i want to fly right now. Never seen this beauty of mother land before.
