@@Hunter-ue3ny Dude I wish. I do not like the game at all nor do I ever plan to play it. But I know how much they pay creators and that directly goes to more of these quality vids that I've come to enjoy. Maybe try to think of the bigger picture behind how sponsorships work and support creators next time.
They are Canadian that is how we are Luke And Sabrina are a perfect example .They respect everyone and have manners .And as you can see wherever they go the people love them .
Hey. That was so fascinating to watch, as that is my family. I grew up in that house, my mom was born there. Long story. Some tiny details, that could complete the picture. That liquid dropped in the milk is an extracted culture, which lives in the top layer of a calf's stomach. I know it could sound gross, but that is the only way to get it. The crushed wheat is first needs to be fried for a short time on a frying pen, that's how it's getting that nutty taste, it's the same process as coffee beans or cocoa beans go through. 6:12 is an actual pear, not an apple.
OMG I am kyrgyz currently living in New-York, I was very glad to see how you were happy exploring my homeland! Great video! Good luck in your future adventures!
Thank you guys for the wonderful new country experience at BALKAR VILLAGE FOOD in KYRGYZSTAN! Victims of a totalitarian government. Its traditions and culture. Amazing.💖
I LOVED everything about this family!!! As a home baker/cook I just wanted to jump through my tv and help out with the cooking, especially making fresh homemade cheese. I absolutely ❤️ all your off the beaten path adventures. Can’t wait to see what else is coming next.
What a wonderful experience to be able to watch these families cook and live their lifestyle. That bread looked fantastic and love the cheese making. Great video as always guys 😍
I absolutely love all of your videos! Watching them is the highlight of my week. I am so appreciative of the fact that you show such admiration, respect, and enthusiasm for all of the different people, languages, cultures and customs of the places you visit.
Very interesting! I usually watch this show for food; but this time I am quite fascinated by the story of the Balkar people. A fascinating legacy left by the Soviet Union.
1. You don’t over-react to food to sensationalize, unlike .... and ...... 2. You cover peoples, culture and tradition, not just food. Your videos are worth watching.
Totally agree. It is so nice to listen to a pair of well seasoned travellers who don't "gush", and get all overly sentimental (phony) about places...just the truth like it is, politely.
I love going to touristy places when it comes to traveling abroad but experiencing local life as if you are doing home stay like you guys can learn a lot more and will be memorable 😊💓
Awesome episode! Thanks for showing us authentic Kyrgyzstan food and culture. You are right, I haven’t seen this food before. It all looked really good and interesting!
This cheese is popular across Europe too. It's called Topfen where I am from, Quark in Germany etc. But I have never seen anyone making it at home. I actually quite miss it here in East Asia
Love the family videos! More personable, like the Mexican bbq...I really enjoy seeing the living quarters and how they prepare food I've never seen before.
The best food channel with great love and respect for everyone including your fans❣❣👏👏💗💗.I can't stop watching your videos because it is the best!! Since I am chinese and I can't find good quality street food videos. If you have time can you go to China's greatest cuisines at Guangzhou (origin of Cantoness cuisine), Xian (famous hand pulled noodles and halal food), Xinjiang, Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzen, and any cool states from it.I look forward to see it's unique and exquisite dishes more than just chinese lemon chicken.I give you the best support and just wish to see if they are hospitable, the chinese people.
My first video from a suggestion from RU-vid. I watched it from start to finish and read the various comments and replies. The little white kitty was an indicator that I have to hit the like button. I am now subscribed and have the bell notifications turned to on. Now to I have to go back to the beginning of your video list and start a binge-watch on a Sunday. Great content thusfat!! Keep up the hard work and dedication that must go into creating such an amazing video while staying safe and enjoying yourselves! Thank you for sharing have a lovely day and a wonderful week ahead! Keep up the good job!
One of the greatest food channels I've ever seen on youtube! You guys are sweet and kind to everyone💗 Can I suggest too if you have spare time to go to China's cities that has an outstanding street food? I find some videos but it's not as cool as yours Sir Martin and Mrs. Sabrina.I am looking forward to Xian, Gunagzhou, Xinjiang, Beijing, or any state and I just want to see how other cities produce rare dishes that we don't see in chiness restaurants like Spiced cumin lamb with hand pulled noodles, Orange spareribs, food for Chinese new year, and any special occassions.I am eager to see the people's hospitality and friendliness for foreigners who goes there
What a great series of adventures. These folks in today's video were over the top with their generosity & knowledge. Makes me want to research thei history. Great video gotta watch it again. Y'all Take Care and God Bless
Traditional Kyrgyz food revolves around mutton, beef and horse meat, as well as various dairy products. The preparation techniques and major ingredients have been strongly influenced by the nation's historically nomadic way of life. Thus, many cooking techniques are conducive to the long-term preservation of food. Mutton and beef are the favorite meats, although in modern times many Kyrgyz are unable to afford them regularly.
Loved it! You nailed this vlogg maybe my favorite so far! Bravo 👌👏 What a beautiful family, i would have taken the cat🤍❣ Super interesting i can't wait to see the rest...💟Kyrgyzstan 💟 Im hoping to go visit one day🤞 Well done you two Have fun Sabrina🇨🇵🇬🇧
It’s whey, Luke. That “water” from the cheese is whey. Like curds and whey 😂😂😂 Great video! Stalin falsely accused the Balkars of being Nazi sympathizers and they weren’t allowed to return until 1955
15:13 the bread cooked is also called Paratha( Punjab- Haryana- Rajasthan- UP) in India. It is with multiple fillings and this is a variant. In India the flour is healthy whole wheat, where this is refined flour.
I love your RU-vid channel. I follow you from Morocco. You must come to Morocco. We have delicious food. Morocco is ranked second in the world after France in the best food
they might be caucasian but they do look asian They have asian eyes with the epicathian fold common to chinese and other east asians ..also you said its a turkic language ..sounded like russian to me tho .....beautiful people and the food looked interesting and yummy .-)
Similar flavors with Turkey. The last pastry you eat is called " Lokma ", which is sweet with syrup, and the one that is fried only and eaten for breakfast is called " Pişi ". Also, in Turkey, Ayran is flavored with salt only. It was a nice vlog.
Will you be having some street food videos just walking around eating and showing some of the interesting places? While these visit to local family are quite nice to see, I am more keen to see the street foods along the road which are more accessible for solo traveller like me without joining a tour?
Okay, you got me with the dog joke. 😂 🐕 I'm loving this series. Always enjoy seeing places that are much less shown and explored. Definitely my favorite type of content. Really want to make a trip to all the "Stans"!
Luke, you must be pretty tall and the Bulgarian/Kyrgyzstan house must be miniature ! You know, you might want to get in touch with "The Property Brothers"; your hair colour & growth pattern, widow's peak...even a few facial expressions reminds a bit of them. ♡♡♡ your stuff. From Lethbridge, Alberta.
BTW...was just kidding about Property Brothers, but you resemble them all in a good way. They (to this old lady !), are good lookin' smart as heck and Canadian !
thank you guys, they are my nation. Thank you for showing them to us. If you want, We can host you in Russia and u can visit the place of origin of Balkars
This is a fantastic video but I must criticize the decision to have a video game sponsor. Not relevant to the channel. I know the $ can be tempting but it can hurt your channel.
They do so much kneading and doughing. It must require lot of strength ,those ladies are superb💪.Those dance steps were surreal 👏I am grateful that you guys are showing around the local cultures 🤩🙏
The dish you prepared looks delicious. You're a fantastic cook. You are providing wonderful homemade meals for the family. I hope that your family appreciate them as they provide energy and taste great! Love from Korea🇰🇷💕
KEEP IN MIND-MY DEAR-THESE ARE PEOPLES ancestry-IMMIGRATED FROM THE Romanian TERRITORY, UNDER THE SOVIET OCCUPATION, WHO are keeping traditional receipts and words-from Romania!👍👍👍
hello this dish is from the Caucasus, the Balkars call the khitchins, the Ingush and Chechens call the chapilgish, and the Chechens and the Ingush were also repressed in 1944, visit Ingushetia and Chechnya in Spring/Sommer time, it’s very beautiful there , thanks for video 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍
You actually haven’t seen countries who struggled from hunger. In Soviet Union no one struggled from hunger that’s very strange mindset. Yes, was limited but everything was natural. There were no chemicals, supplements and etc. Now it all looks sad, but at one time these parts of the building were abandoned. In every village there were schools, kindergartens, medical centers and even in hard-to-reach places. Every citizen had the right to free education and medicine . Everything that was built in this countries was done during the Soviet Union. To say that people suffered at that time is very wrong. You should not devalue the work that was invested in the Soviet Union. The only people who are to blame for the ruins that remain are our rulers ( presidents) who sold everything and left the countries in this condition.
Obviously, this stuffed bread invented by Muslim Central Asians, Caucasians travelled down into Indian Subcontinent and Hindus replaced meat/cheese with only potato, vegetables to turn it into ALOO PARATHA WITH LASSI ( Steppes Ayran ) Just like Uzbek meat SAMSA turned into Potato, veggi INDIAN SAMOSA. Many dishes, recipes travelled this same route changing into something different.
Fun fact: Balkars and Kyrgyz are both Turcophone peoples who speak similar (related) Turkic languages. Yet they're nearly completely different genetically, although they might have shared ancestors from thousands of years ago (Huns, Kumaks/Pechenegs, etc.).
