1. None of Pakistani officers’ wives/ womenfolk molested. Humood Ur Rehman report doesn’t report any such assaults. It’s an exhaustive report which is disregarded by speaker. 2. Kashmir uprising in 1947 was not indigenous. Tribal pathans were enlisted by west Pakistan to mount attack on Srinagar.

Indira Gandhi did not dismiss Farooq Abdullah. In fact it was the opposite. She brought out Sheik Abdullah to mainstream again and he became the CM of J&K from 1975 to 1982. AS Dulat is on record suggesting that it was Indira Gandhi who wanted Farooq Abdullah to succeed Sheik Abdullah and pleaded him to do so. So Dr Farooq Abdullah succeeded his father when he passed away in 1982. It will probably take Pakistanis 20 more years to get it correct. Otherwise, the attempt to provide a nuanced version by Dr Rehman is very much appreciated.

While the economy is a challenge - I believe Pakistanis should change their curriculum in schools to teach the kids the truth - in a hurry - because that’s when they will reset the clock & stop breeding hatred. It will take 20 years from the day they make those changes for Pakistan to become normal ! Nothing else will ever fix this

root cause is Islam, Islam has the basic about everything thing. Followers follow koran to the nth level of details e.g. momin vs kafir. men vs women. There can never be any tolerance towards anybody who is not a moslem.

@@FirstLast-fj1yp Yes, Muslims are above the disbelievers. However, Pakistanis should learn about how Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) signed treaties and facilitated trade with the Arab pagans. Why shouldn't we do the same with the Indian pagans? As for gender politics, the Subcontinent still suffers from some surviving remnants of the Purdah system.
