Oh, that's great! I love how you made time for a hobby that takes a considerable amount of time besides medical school! Since you love music and singing it makes totally sense AND I'm sure it's a great thing to balance studies and work. I just subscribed recently and managed to catch up a bit on your former vlogs and got to know that you play lacrosse and generally it seemed that you manage your time very well making enough time for social activities, app-making and youtube of course. Does the mix has an impact on you being/seeming so grounded? And any thoughts on time management from your side? I really do enjoy your chill/positively calm aura, Ali and your content - not being a medical student - and the variety of it.. Vlogs, Uni/studying and I really appreciated the video on the "Charlie Guard"-Case. Cheers

i love how every pakistani is a medic LOL living up to their parents expectations! jk very successful people!!! I wanted to be a medic too but i enjoy chemistry much more so.. i want to apply to either nat science at cambridge or just pure chemistry at oxford. Best of luck to your future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This really inspired me to want to go to Cambridge now, especially the whole ethnic minority thing as I’m of Indian origin! Amazing video man, I’m really happy you made it, and the singing was amazing. I hope that in September 2020 I will be studying medicine at Cambridge 😊😊😊

@@rajab4187 I decided to go birmingham, I guess a lot changes in 2 years. I didn't actually apply for Cambridge in the end, I thought it didn't really suit me. I did apply for UCL and got an offer but I rejected my UCL offer and decided to firm Birmingham.

Ali Abdaal are you still in contact with him or that guy who was really good at singing who’s last name was perrera? Those covers were amazing, I really like your covers on Instagram and you have helped me take music further, also I used to be a really bad student getting a c+ if I was lucky, you’re videos motivate me and I have started getting the top scores in my class within a few months of watching your videos. I am wanting to get into medicine when I finish school, I have started making positive choices and habits since reading your newsletter, I read atomic habits, started waking up early and have started living a more minimalist lifestyle.
