Ilyasi Masjid Pakora - A shop that is older than Pakistan. This is a must stop when traveling around this part of Pakistan. Not only to see a beautiful Mosque, but to also satisfy your hunger at a place that has been serving up Pakora for longer decades. The must for me is the Onion Pakora, but they have all types of Pakora you can choose from. Don't forget to dip it in the addictive Chutney.

Mian Jee Punjab Restaurant- I am usually not a fan of road side stops, but leave it to Pakistan to prove me wrong. This is another must stop spot when traveling to the north into Kashmir. This place was opened by a man from the Punjab region. The must try for me are the Desi Ghee Paratha and the Shahi Daal (Daal Fry). Also the Chana is so nice here with high quality ingredients. Of course you can get some sweets such as Malai with sugar topping.
