Pakistan has more Glaciers to get melting Water to its rivers than india. With 7,253 known glaciers, including 543 in the Chitral Valley, there is more glacial ice in Pakistan than anywhere on Earth outside the polar regions.

@bigsmoke9493.Yes, in the Chinese region the river is called the Lion's Mouth, not Indus. When it crosses over to the Akhand Bharat (United India) region through the Kailas Parbat, it is called Indus. So the "Indus" river belongs to India, the origin doesn't even come into the picture.

The Indus water treaty allocates the three "western rivers"-the Indus, Chenab, and Jhelum-to Pakistan, and the three "eastern rivers"-the Beas, Ravi, and Sutlej-to India.' We can build any hydro power generator on western rivers but we can't divert water or do anything related activities according to the treaty. Now the Shahpur Kandi Barrage that was delayed got completed. It can help us to utilize the entirety of eastern rivers mostly ravi which used to get wasted going towards pakistan. The water will be used in J&k and punjab.

@yangleezhao531 firstly we are not even talking about that and I never mentioned anything about Brahmaputra. Most of the rivers around India originates from Himalayan ranges and these 3 rivers were given to Pakistan according to treaty. Now comes the topic of Brahmaputra. The Brahmaputra River originates in Tibet and crosses the border into Arunachal Pradesh, which is occupied by India but claimed by China as Southern Tibet. Which China does to every of its neighbouring partner. Especially Tibet region because it's a very important location strategically and both economically. There are two MoUs signed between India and China for provision of hydrological information on the two transborder rivers. You better get your facts straight. According to Chinese government the entirety of the world belongs to the China and I am pretty sure that's the altered version map you all get and hence you come to brag on the internet without even knowing the truth. You guys truly are frogs in the well controlled by your own government.

@@wionporky9937 not just India but many nations like Myanmar Thailand etc are condemning China on the excessive buildings of dam unnecessarily even if there is no need which hampers the water supply to other nations in case of them. In the case of India,the water scarcity from the building of the dam is not quite the case as we have 80% of the water volume.Apart from that the state receives the highest rainfall which causes overflow in the river.Now,imagine in rainy season the China releasing water from overflow of dam just near the border with that ,it will cause havoc in the lives of people living in the Indian state of arunachal pradesh So,india is actually objecting not on the dam but capacity of the dam and volume of water it will hold.China already has so many dams and creating another one just near the border is purely unnecessarily and looks more of military tactic.

We signed a treaty with them in 1960 related to water treaty in which it was stated eastern rivers in which Ravi rivers comes that belongs to India and India can use it fully . We just didn't use or store for many years but now we are going to use it for Kashmir and jammu

India is diverting this water of RAVI toward Framers of Jammu and Kashmir meanwhile Pak Military is busy doing politics. Pakistan never built any major dam on Indus basin and stored water for their future use, If Pakistan not agree to store water than India need to work to facilitate its people and farmer. As per Indus water agreement India has 100% share on RAVI river.

First, it was done over a very long period of 200+ years. Not all in one go. And it was the British policies and laws implemented that killed 1.8 billion Indians, not that they were executed

The two main policies that wiped out 1.8 billion Indians are: 1: Allocation of food: Since the British were at war all the time, they didn't have people to do the farming. They made India do agriculture and then take it away. causing a massive famine every week. 2: Plundering of India's natural resources The British forced Indians to mine all the natural minerals in their country and carry them to the ports to be shipped back to England every day. extremely dangerous jobs, and these poor Indians weren't fed, and hundreds of millions succumbed to the exhaustion. The whole of India was ruled by only a handful of Britishers. Why India chose to never fight back baffles many to this day. Maybe India is just obedient by nature.

The 45 trillion dollars that were taken mainly consist of natural resources. If you look at India's current mineral deposits, most are completely depleted (that's why India imports their minerals instead of producing them themselves; they have nothing left). The British forced Indians to mine and carry those minerals and resources to the sea port so they could be sent back to England every single day for 200 years. The U.S. and U.K. infrastructure was pretty much built from not only India's natural minerals but also India's blood, sweat, and even lives (countless Indians died working in the mines all day with less than a portion of grain in their stomachs).

That's why education is important. What is Warsak Dam on Kabul, What is Tarbela dam (largest earth filled dam in world) on İndus, What is Mangla Dam (6th largest in world built on Jhelum river? And Pakistan already has a large networks of canals. İf you Google, you'll find that the indus irrigation system is actually the world's largest. Even india doesn't have such a sophisticated network of canals.

When China can control Bhrahmaputra river by making making multiple dams why can't India control water of the rivers that originiates from India. IMO, Indus treaty should not be considered seriously and all the water should be in India's control. I would not say this had this been a different neighbour. The country run on bail out lons and terrorism needs to learn a lesson now.

Pakistan has water managemt department but no water management.Kalabagh can fulfill total water and electricty need of Pakistan.Sadly Pakistan could not build a single proper dam after tarbela dam.means in 76 years just two proper working dams.you can say no proper dam in about 45 years.

No. Kashmir issue started on Pakistan claiming the kingdom of Kashmir as part of it's own because of it's large muslim population. When the then hindu king of Kashmir refused, Pakistan invaded and he was forced to seek help from India, which then negotiated that it will protect Kashmir only if it agrees to become part of the Indian Union. With no choice, the king signed the treaty and Kashmir became India's territory. Pak occupied Kashmir is the land that Pak army captured till being met with Indian army before UN called for a ceasefire.

India has its own need for development also looking at its 1.46 billion population India has full right to first think about its own nation, also the existence of Pakistan is due to India but as gratitude, we never see from Paks side instead we have faced a lot of problems due to Pak under terrorism as well as war. We don't need IMF or UN or World Bank's advice on our internal issue and they have no right to make any verdict as simple as that also India is wasting its time to keep taking POK and COK to UN as it's a waste body that is biased and doesn't come up to any conclusion so slowly and wisely we should be taking POk back then COK. Tibet is a sovereign nation and we need to work on it China is illegally holding Tibet and our past silence has resulted in annexed Tibet somehow giving way to China to enter India's land and challenge us. As the day passes India needs to work on Tit for tat strategy to neutralize our border disputes.
